Born on a cold night of november in a family of farmers Niels began his life knowing the hard work and the effort it takes to survive in life but allways wanted more.
at age 7 his parents finally got enough money to send him to his dreames military school where he would get paid scoolarships due to his bright mind.
By the time he finished at age 14 he was a skilled swordsman and acurate with the bow, he then enlisted in the military service to protect his small town from monsters.
He started learning abit of magic on the side for the fun of it.
But at the age of 18 after years of combat and almost loosing an arm he finally climbed up the ranks to the point his family could live a happy stable life, he became an officer and lead his men into victory many times and befriended a fellow townsfolk who he latter turned into his right hand.
At the age of 24 he marched towards the capital of the Northern Kingdom to settle a small diplomatic dispute and while crossing the ice filled paths of the mountains disaster struck.
Lightning from the sky across the mountain's path, rocks around his men falling like rain. After using the last of his magic power to protect himself from the attack Niels fell into cold waters nearly a thousan years ago, with no energy or options left he froze on the depths of the now icy caves, he lost it all; status, power, riches but worst of all he failed to protect those under his care.
Althought not very strong in combat he has a great mind to compensate and the hability to quickly find ways to take advantage in every situation, despite his friendliness he carries a scar and distances himself from others to avoid failing them like he failed his army and his friend.
In sectret he still hopes to find his place in this strange world.
