Zero (doesn't know his surname) was left unwanted by his parents when he was born. He was left in a basket full of bread, in the wilderness for any creatures taking. Thankfully shortly after, a pack of hunters on horses encountered the basket. The leader, Arthur, halted his horse and hopped off intrigued as to what was in the basket. To his surprise, it was a baby boy.
Arthur took it to the pub where he sat and joked with his friends about the situation, with one of the friends saying "If we hadn't gone on a hunt, he would have had zero chance of surviving". To which the name of the baby was given, Zero.
Arthur was a very busy man and didn't have much time to look after Zero as he was growing up, who spent most of his early life indoors as Arthur was always out. Arthur had taught Zero enough, after all, he was a great fighter, a leader of one of the most feared groups of people in the town outside of the Kingdom of Norland, so Zero had learnt a lot from him, but enough was enough. After 9 long years of being stuck inside, Zero escaped by punching through a small window that he managed to swivel his body through, cutting himself in many places. But Zero was numb to the pain, as the adrenaline of finally escaping this town that he had been forced to live in his whole life was rushing through his body, and managed to feed him enough energy to get out of the town, and far into the wilderness.
Over the next 17 years Zero lived a life of petty crimes. Making just enough to be able to feed his stomach and put shoes on his feet. But now he wants more...
