Godrick was born in a small mountain village in the Kingdom of Norland where he lived a peaceful childhood with his parents. Due to Godricks friendly nature, he had 2 very close friends in the village, named Freya and Wulfric. They would travel the mountains and forest nearby the village, always making sure to return before it went dark. However on 1 trip, they got lost in the woods, this frightened Godrick a lot, as he had no idea what would happen to him in the woods, and what would happen to him in case he was able to return. Luckily the trio heard their parents calling their names and simply followed the sound to return safely, however this event has still left a permanent scar on Godrick.
When they were teenagers, the trio would often help around with different chores all around the village. Around this time, he also fell in love with books. As there was a local writer who had his own personal library, which he read many books from. This writer's name was Sieghart, and a friendship would ensue with them. Both Sieghart and Godrick loved to think about questions in a very critical manner, as they debated many topics together. Always coming on their own answer to the topic even if they differed from each other. More years went on and Godrick eventually joined his father work, his father was the local hunter. Throughout Godrick's life, his father would sometimes take him on hunting trips in the woods, to teach him some tips and tricks about hunting and gathering food for the village. Which he then fully started to help on around the age of 15, going on hunting party's with his father and uncle.
Both his father and uncle used to be warriors and guards in the capital of Norland, Varhelm. There they both worked for many years, fighting many battles for the Kingdom of Norland. Eventually they both layed down their weapons, as both of them would have their son. Since they they have used their training well, adapting it in Hunting.
He still resides hunting in the village, however Godrick believes he's ready to venture out in the world and learn about the different cultures and politics of different lands and villages than his own.
