When Alenia was born her mother was surrounded by lavender. Her love of plants comes from her. She was born in a field of flowers on an adventure for her father's traveling merchant job. She is an only child and never really could make friends growing up. Her parents were quite poor so they unfortunately could not afford any kind of education, however her mother tried to homeschool her with what books and knowledge she had. She learned much about people and merchantry due to her father's traveling market, as well as herbalism from her mother's continuous gardening. When Alenia turned 18 her mother passed from elf hunters who came by their cottage in the woods in search for her father, a human who had a bounty on him for a crime he didn't commit. Her father had run when she turned 17 because he knew who was coming for him. Alenia only survived because she was out in the garden tending to the lavender. From then on, into her twenties, she lived in fear of humans in case any of them were elf hunters. She has lived roughly outside of The Vale of Nevaehlen for most of her life.
