He was born into a below average village in the outer region of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, where crime and illicit activity was fairly common. His parents ended up abandoning him early on to his lone grandparent, his grandfather.
While growing up, he picked up some tricks and knowledge from this tough life, but during his entire youth his grandfather guided him towards the side of honour and duty.
His grandfather wasn't a lawful man, but an hounourable one, one that believed in personal justice and duty. Cian followed his grandfathers' words losely during his youth.
His minor years were not very eventful, thought his early adult years were. During these years, he stole from those he thoughts didn't deserve what they hadand worked honest jobs.
At one point deciding to leave his village for a larger town, he found a group of less-than-legal fellows who had offered to bring him on for a heist.
During this heist, they threw him to guards on their run away as a way to stall them. This betrayal changed him, and his time in prison made him think on his grandfathers words, which has turned him into who he is today. He now works his farm, does deals with those near him, and involves himself with those he deems right, whether lawful folk or not.
