Ellisar Meneldur was born from a middle status family, his father worked in the king's armory, forging tools of war. While his mother was a priest at a local temple, and there Ellisar spent much of his childhood as the armory was no place for a child. It was there in the temple working beside his mother he grew a fondness for the faith and the powers it held.
When he was starting to become a young man his father took over the rearing of him and there he stood sweating by the hot coals as his father worked the metal. After helping his father they would test out the newly crafted weapons and armor, and though his father had not served in the military for some time he was still able to teach Ellisar a few tactics in a fight to keep him alive.
Hearing of his father’s victories while in the military he wanted a similar glory, he wanted to be known, and he wanted riches. With this combined with his mother’s faith he now seeks to join the Malchediael's Templars.
