Chordaimis always looked up to his father, named Charlie, as a young boy. Chordaimis never knew his mother as she had passed away from a mysterious illness when he was an infant. They lived in a rather remote location, but his father was a fisherman for a nearby village within the Principality of Savoy. Because of their remoteness they would often have to provide for themselves. This is how Chordaimis acquired his desire to learn about the world around them - they had to feed themselves and produce their own remedies. His father was a man of God which was passed down to Chordaimis, and he now finds great strength in his faith. During Chordaimis' time with his father, he learned how to wield a sword as a young boy. However, his weapon of choice is an axe. When Chordaimis was 16, Charlie went out to sea for a regular day of work. A stormed quickly and unexpectedly rolled in, and Charlie was not able to escape. The death of his father forced him to become the man that his father once was.
