Virian was born in Haelun'or where he would live for 20 years before setting out on his own adventure. His father is a fletcher named Oslan and his mother, Elanor, runs the shop. Ever since Virian was 6 he was fascinated with magic and his parents noticing this put him in a magic school. Virian was often bullied and had a big incident where he was held underwater and traumatized for a time. He was suspended along with the bullies after he burned part of one's face with magic. Virian always came home with cuts and bruises and his father couldn't stand it. During the suspension his father taught him how to fight and grow a spine. Virian continued to study for many years until he left Haelun'or at the age of 20 for a greater destiny.
