You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Trying not to show the building fear in his face, he nervously enters the tent & sits down on the cushion. His thoughts race, have they met before, how does she knows him, where could they have met and how could she possibly know he was coming as he didn't even know he was going there himself until the last minute. He's takes in his surroundings, noticing a blanket, food and water. The old hag watches him closely and slowly motions toward the food and drink for him to partake. Although he is feeling cold, tired, hungry and thirsty, his instincts tell him not to trust her. His hunger gets the better of him and he takes the items and proceeds to wrap himself up on the cushion then eats and drinks until he quells his hunger. Weariness overcomes him as he tries to keep the old hag within his gaze and his eyes close for just a moment. He jolts upright abruptly as the old hag is reentering the room. "Tell me your story," she sked him. Responding slowly, he said, "The story that is worth telling is only told once is has come to its end and my story has not yet begun." Rising from the cushion and throwing off the blanket and thanking her for her hospitality, he told her it was time to go. He started to walk out of the tent when when he heard the old hag's parting words "Your story has just begun young one, fair travels and good luck!," she smirks knowingly. And says so it begins..........
