Varian's youth took place in Acre. The rebellion against the Kingdom of Oren forced him and his family to flee towards a safer environment. His mother at the time was sick from diseases as she was a nurse during the war, Varian set out to join the militia in order to gain enough minas for treatment for his mother. When he returned, his mother had passed and his father had left at a young age meaning Varian was alone. Varian continued his duties as a militia, training his swordsman ship alongside his fellow companions.

"I've come to become someone, if it weren't for war my Mother wouldn't have gotten sick." I crossed my arms and tilted my head downwards towards the floorboard "I fight in the name of my Mother, she fought the hardest in the worst conditions."
