You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
"I grew up in a troubled situation my home life was tenuous at best. I left my home one day and ran into a man named Fahl, he adopted me as his protégé and in doing so taught me the ways of the world. one day our city had been invaded by intruders and I was taken and held captive where I was forced into a school that I learned to become a puppet of the nation and a soldier. I then when I came of age left home and went to a College where i learned the social arts. that brought me to my current profession of preaching. Equil was a young boy born into a bad household . as growing up in this environment he was pestered by the idea that the gods were not real and could not exist, this idea drove the young Equil mad and he ended up abandoning the only place he knew as home until he came across a city he never learned the name of. In this city he met a man named Fahl who had ran into the boy wile attempting to escape from a pickpocket he had committed. The boy ran with Fahl until they came upon a trapdoor in the back of a Tavern. Descending into the room beneath the door a room could be seen carved underground. Fahl over the next Decade had raised and taught Equil of the world. One day the room was raided by the cities Guards for treason and conspiring against the Lord. They had taken Fahl right Infront of the boy. Equil, being just a young boy alone is taken by a guard captain who swears by his honor to raise this boy. he is placed into a swordsman school for boys where he learns to master the art of swordsmanship. as he grows older he becomes fond of thought and the wills of others and at the age of 20 enrolls into a school of Philosophy and national Thinking (Political School) where he graduates to become a politician in the nation.
