You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
"You know of me?" I stutter, straightening up ever so slightly in apprehension. I stare at her and regard her body's stature, but I don't back away from her. Instead, I choose to sit down on the cushion near her. I ready myself to tell my story and how I got to this little town, but I don't start yet, letting the anticipation build for a moment. "Well, then there is nothing to hide. I am Kylania Caro like my mother before me. The world itself is what interests me, and I suppose it is the reason why we're talking. Books and stories are my playground, but I enjoy talking to people even more. I wish to learn as much as I can. That's who I am. That's what I will disclose."
