You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” *The man looks back into an abyss of fog, then turns around to the hag*
"You've been looking for.... me?"
(Old Hag) "By the way you're dressed, how close we are to the ocean, and the fact that a human warship was sunken by the elves and there was only one survivor.... yes I was expecting the man that somehow swam miles to shore while not being spotted in clear daylight"
(Liam) "Well I guess a short introduction is in order, after all, the day won't be getting much worse. My name is Liam Walsh, I come from a far away land filled with human to human and human to elf conflict. Conflict was as natural as leafs falling from the tree's. I grew up in a small village like most children, when I turned 8 I became a weapon for the kingdom, I have since fought many battles and many wars for those that care not for their "subjects" and became adept in the ways of the sword. We were fighting the elves when my ship was hit by a lightning strike, the ship started to burn and I jumped overboard and just kept swimming. I was shocked to find this land which is not on my map... What is this place? "
(Old Hag) "My child, you are in a land of conflict, so what are you going to do?"
(Liam) "I think I'm going to find the nearest kingdom and look for my purpose, I can take some time off from being a captive to a kingdom and being forced to fight."
