You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) After a short second of confusion on how the woman was expecting him Melvin starts sitting down and thanking the woman for letting him sit "Well, happy to find myself expected... and to the question of my person, my Name is Melvin but u seem to know that already. I am from a tribe of nomads who roam plains so big the eye cant hope to catch all of it. When i was a child i was adopted by the tribe after the rest of what was my family died on a hunt. But that was a while ago now... " Melvin just looks at one of the candle flames and seems to get lost in the flame while thinking of times long past. "When I reached the age the tribe deemed right i was taken out on my first hunt and i can remember the feeling of the wind crossing my face and the adrenalin of chasing after the prey on horseback. I remember the feeling of taking the enemies life after being thaught how to end it painlessly and how one of the tribes elders explained how all life should be respected and that letting the poor animal suffer is a cruelty no being is meant to suffer. After that day i started to improve so that one day i can roam the plains by myself and the older i got the further i rode out. Now that I lived for a bit of time i decided to find my own path and left my tribe. On my travels i lived by the teachings of the tribe and will continue to do so but i have to say what i saw outside of the plains shocked me. Giant Castle so unlike to the tents grouped around a big fire, Massive cities with people who dont even know the others name so unlike to the tribe that many if not all call their family." Melvin now proceeds to look the old hag in the eyes narrowing his own in the progress "But if you were expecting me i doubt you didnt know a good portion of it already. All my travels brought me here and I wonder why?" Melvin slowly leans forwars so his elbows rest on his knees "Know after i shared my story and how i got here could i hear your story aswell? I have a feeling that it wont be as boring as it may look from the outside."
