You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Exploring was not something Hyacinth did, well at least not until she had to. The humidity of the bog was almost choking and she stares straight at the old woman in front of her, her stance frightened like a deer frozen in place. "Expecting me? I uh, I'm not sure how you are expecting me. I- I well I just decided to leave home a few days ago." But despite the obvious discomfort she settles down onto the cushion. "I'm just traveling, you see I think my brother has turned into a rock." Awkwardly she pulls out a stone from her pack. "I'm traveling to one of the libraries in the city so I can figure out the curse. You see, there's this dwarven tunnel nearby my village and my twin brother thought it would be fun to explore it one day. He um... well he um got me to go with him. We got lost, and he was right in front of me when there was this bright light and where he was standing was this rock." She pauses, glancing down at the stone in her hand, her fingers running along the surface. "Have you heard of anything about this? Or perhaps know someone who knows magic well enough to perhaps know what might have happened?" (Hi, so I figure it would be fun if it's a misunderstanding. Like her brother isn't actually a rock. He just left or got lost or something and she panicked and left before he came back)
