Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

If this creature has multiple subtypes, don’t forget to mention your character’s particular subtype here!

Dryad-like people with altered souls that are cursed by a Fae plant from the Fae Realm to become plant-people, in a parasitic relationship with their Fae plant to continue it's lifecycle and protect it. They become distressed if their Fae plant is disturbed, and have an affinity with nature. They go through seasons, each leading to a rebirth, before eventually becoming a Fae plant themselves.

The different types of ephiphytes are: The Dryophyte, Ephiphytes bound to a fae tree, the Bryophytes, Epiphytes bound to a herbaceous plant, and the Saphrophyte, who are bound to fungus.

Ephiphytes will always regard their fae plant as a friend and trusted companion, regardless of how much harm it has caused them.

Rebirth takes place in 10 to 50 ooc weeks, with an ephiphyte appearing youthful but not childlike in spring, with a flux of emotions, maturing at summer and having their emotions stabilize, showing signs of visible age at autumn, and fully withering the closer they get to winter, before they rebirth into a new form. Rebirth is when an epiphyte withers and fades away, reborn in a new body from their fae plant. They usually don't have any memories at first, being confused, before they slowly return. This can happen up to 6 times before the connection of their souls becomes too strong, and they become a fae plant themself.

Epiphytes can heal with mundane medicine, as it has a regular effect on them, but also with druidic blight healing/druids blooming. If an epiphyte gains one of these, they cannot use it on themself. Epiphytes also have an ability called Regrowth that lets them heal, which I will explain in the abilities section.

Epiphyes have many weaknesses, such as:
Casting void and dark spells around an Epiphyte makes them nauseous, and being near a voidal tear, obelisk, or similar source of voidal power will make this nausea too debilitating for them to focus. Greater sources or specific corrupting spells may cause an Epiphyte to blight, where they become feral and violent until cured by druids.
They cannot be healed by holy magic, but cannot be harmed by it either.
Azhl will corrupt an epiphyte with Azhl anemia after 10 emotes from the moment they are first exposed. They innately despise it, and Azhl anemia can be cured by druidic means.
Thanhium will disable Epiphyte abilities, and put them in a frenzied state as it disrupts their connection to their plant. This state lasts until they can confirm it's safety.
Epiphytes treat all burns as one step greater, making them very weak to fire.
Aurum will afflict a searing pain to Epiphytes, with the amount being proportionate to how big the wound is. A full slash will fully debilitate one.

    Abilities:
Connection: An epiphyte always knows where their fae plant is and can feel it's sensations, with an emotional connection to it. They are also able to manifest an animal with the personality of their plant.
Sowing: An epiphyte may create mundane seeds or spores of their fae plant's type, and scatter them in a one meter by one meter area. They cannot use these except through the druidic Growth spell, but if their plant is in too much danger or dead, they may produce a seed through a painful process and replant it.
Budding: An epiphyte may copy a herb that they know of and cause it to sprout from their body. Useful for healing, and if an epiphyte knows how to process it, they can create a salve instead.
Regrowing: An epiphyte cures wounds naturally at the following rates: Lesser wounds in a narrative hour, Moderate wounds in a narrative day (Sometimes needing medical attention), major wounds in an OOC day requiring medical attention, and extreme wounds in an ooc week, and always require immediate medical treatment.
Quaking: Quaking allows an Epiphyte to produce many different floral effects, none of which can be used in combat.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

As a Dryophyte, Athri'Lirrame takes the traits of some sort of tree - In her case, it is a Star Magnolia tree, as is their Fae plant. Dryophytes can have bark skin, leaf hair, and other plant-like traits on their person.
