You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Example: (delete this)
"I what to experience the world, that's why I left the clan." You say after awhile in your thin raspy voice.
She looks at you as if she doesn't believe you but accepts it.
She says "But why have you come here?"
After moment you say "after I left I traveled for a while..." While talking you try to slink closer to her and slip a hand toward her money pouch. "And I think I will continue for awhile yet. See the world". She casually slaps your hand away without looking. You quickly hide your surprise and continue talking. "I would like to cross the swamp."
"Fine but money first." She says. You pay her and outside the tent a man waits for you.
The guide helps you though the swamp and you arrive on the other side a few days later.
