You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Almore looks around seeing no one else is in this place. he walks to a seat, looking around one more time. Almore stutters slightly before starting his tale. "I lived on a ranch, never good with animal though, i lived with my pops and ma. it was hard being a single child on a ranch, always having to work twice as hard because my father, a good man at heart, was a very lazy man. So once I became of age to start working he put it off to me. Again I wasn't good with animals so working on a ranch was a real pain. Then after 9 years of working a weird strange green fellow approached the ranch, he spoke in a weird way as well. It was a orc, i never seen one before this. guy looked tall and aggressive, but also hungry. over coming my fear and offer the guy some food. He looked at me with so much hate and so like i was stupid. ah, I was, really was. He charges me and i fall in fear, then before i knew it he was over me swinging a sword. i close my eyes waiting to die. my father, god bless my father, he has sword in hand and its in the orc's skin he tried to strike me with. But at-lass the big fellow easily overcame him and my father ran, screaming "RUN, RUN UNTIL YOU CANT RUN NO MORE, EVEN THEN RUN",Almore stops, there is a pause as he holds his ears "should have listened, i should have ran. i wish i never heard what i heard next" there is a long pause after that while the old hag stares at the boy like she heard this story 100 times over" the orc followed my pops. I didn't run I hid in a bush as I heard the screams of my father. after hiding for a few minutes more i heard the creaming of my mother, how she prayed and begged. i cant forget it. and all i did was hide, but apparently the guy had great smelling as well. he found me, i ran and ran. he followed and until he got bored. i still hear my parents, dear lord. i ran for 5 more years out of fear. no home, no nothing." the pause is back and longer than ever, the old lady gives you a drink but leaves the silence as it was. in attempted to end the silence "Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until a old guy with the biggest grin comes in "can i have a piece of bread", everyone just stares at each other.....then I chuckle
