You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
*Huh, how does she know my name. I guess I'll just tell her.* "Well," I sit down "I grew up in a small village. So small that most people didn't knew it existed. My father was a Hunter and I was always going to become his successor. But, one day when he went out," There is a tear in my eye "He never came back. The next day, he hadn't returned either, so I rushed into the forest to search for him. I searched for him, for the whole day, and I decided to return home. It had started to rain and I had a strange uncomfortable feeling. It started to storm. I ran. But then, I tripped. In that moment, time moved slower to me. I thought that I was only getting some scratches from this fall. But I was so wrong. When I opened my eyes I saw that I was falling down a hill. My last thought was that I would surely die. I closed my eyes, and than, I hit the ground.
I woke up. The first thing that came to my mind was that this is the afterlife. I looked around the place, it was a small cave with a good view out of the forest. I was lying in a bad made of straw and a bit of leather. Right next to me there was sitting someone. "So you're finally awake." It was a human . "have some soup" I sat up and drank it. It was delicious. "You are lucky I found you, you have some serious injuries. If I hadn't found you, you'd be dead" Just now I felt my broken leg and arms. "Now, I suppose you need to head home. I mean, you were sleeping here for three days" "What, really?" "Yes. Let's just get you home. Can you walk?" "I'll try" And after a few hours we found my home village.
It was completely destroyed. I quickly ran into the village ,even though I still had a broken leg, to search my parents. And when I went into the left remains of my house I saw my mother. The corpse of my mother. Right next to her there was my father. He was dying right now, He lost his left arm and he is losing blood every second. Then, he spoke his final words :"Son, you are here." I was completely paralyzed "I am dying right now, There are just some things you need to accept." Who... who did this t.. to you?" "It was a human." Then I realized it, the guy who saved me was then one who killed my parents, no, the entire village. "Take this" And his final act was to give me his bow "Remember, no matter what you do, I will always be proud of you." He died. I broke down in tears.
From that moment I knew that I had to avenge my parents, no my village. I got stronger over the years and I keep on searching him to this day. This is my story
