You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" screams the child, who had just lost her parents in a terrible war and now she is looking for a good life here in this world, as she wants. She is unaware and unable to survive alone in the world, and hopes she can find a good family to be able to live with. Emma, a delicate flower in the garden of life, now carried the weight of sorrow upon her slender shoulders. Her once bright eyes, filled with youthful wonder, were now tinged with a hint of sadness. She moved through the world with a quiet grace, her steps measured and thoughtful, as if treading on fragile ground. Since that fateful day, Emma's life had become a labyrinth of emotions, with each passing moment offering a unique challenge. She found solace in the comforting embrace of solitude, seeking refuge in the pages of her favorite books, where fictional worlds offered a temporary respite from her own reality. The characters within those stories became her friends, their struggles echoing her own, as she navigated the depths of her own heartache. Within her, a storm of conflicting emotions waged an endless battle. Sorrow and anger wrestled with gratitude and love, leaving her heart torn between longing for what was lost and cherishing the memories she held dear. Waves of grief crashed upon her shores, threatening to consume her, but somehow she found the strength to keep swimming.
