Taynei Acaln'hiem grew up with his familly of mercenaries in Athera Aldersberg for most of his life. He never quite fit in, however, as he preferred avoiding violence whenever possible, instead of focusing drawing up plans of buildings he wished to one day be able to construct. This often put his family's various jobs at stake. They eventually had enough and deserted him on the trail.
He spend a few months living alone in a forest, having managed to make himself a little shack and surviving off what he could find in the forest.
He one day met with a lone traveler who took pity on him and decided to take him along on his travels.
He now spends most of his time alone, drawing plans for projects he doubts will ever come to fruition. He internalized his feelings of loneliness and dejection, however, so he puts on an air of calm happiness in front of others when necessary.
**As Taynei walks into a tavern he looks up for the prices and realizes that he doesn't have enough gold to pay. He leans against the bar and putting on his most charming smile as he says to the bartender**"Hey there, my friend," he smirks, "Why don't you give me a pint of your finest mead and I will be sure to leave a great review in my world-renowned travelling journal"
