You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) I sit down upon the cushion offered and after a brief moment of hesitation I say, "Well um... where do I begin?...". "Well lets start at the beginning I guess. I was a commander of the Legion of Shadow. An army of Evil I guess. Our Ranks were filled with dark wizards, evil mages, as well as demons and monsters, each creature equally and more terrifying then the last. But then One of Us, A Nevarin, humans branded with the same mark as me." I pull back my left arm to reveal my shadow mark: a purple brand of 3 diamond bodied serpents intertwined together with runes encircling them. "This is what give us Nevarin our power. A mark that is more then a branding of the body. It is intertwined with our soul. He betrayed the legion. Breaking the magic that held him a prisoner to his lust for power and to to the Legion. I too have severed my ties to the Legion. And seek to put an end to the evils of this world. Wherever they may be."
