You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
"Alright ill indulge your request. I grew up in the lands of Nor'Asath, in a rather middle class home, a son of a lowly town-guard. I was trained most my life in the way of the sword, however i believed my true destiny was too rule, not to just protect some town gate. To achieve this I would become the greatest wizard who ever lived and seize power with my strength, on days where i didn't have to train i would explore the towns library reading all i could about magic, of course it was quite limited in magic reading material the most magic was rare or was inaccessible to a lowly peasant. My fascination and some would say obsession with magic stems from an event in which i once saw a bandit who managed to avoid the town watch, they had almost made it out of town before being stopped by a great mage who roasted them in just a few seconds, with a great and beautiful fire spell, it was at this point that i as a child knew what i wanted todo. i eventually got wind of rumors of great wizards and schools that could teach me the way, so i promised to myself that i would seek them out once i was able. So once i grew up i left home and began my journey is search of magical knowledge to fill my own ambitions, and such journey has brought me too you and your little swamp village"
