You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Example: "Expecting me? Not too sure about that one lass, I can stay a while if you insist. Some company can never hurt, after all." He'd then move to a seated position, relaxing a little amidst the confusion. -Backstory- "My story huh? The name's Jericho, of the Nimruzîr lineage. I'm an Adunian, though that may have been clear already. I do have the appearance of your typical Adunian." "I hail from the South-Eastern lands, near Númendil. Not much to say about my story. It's not the most interesting tale as my younger years are a feint vision to me now. My memory is not the best. I've been told that I was an...easy child. Something like that..." "I suppose I've never needed much to keep walking forward. Never had much to begin with, so I guess that helps. I mean...I know little of who created me, they left the corporeal realm before I could say my name, or so I was told. As far as I'm aware I was raised by an elf named Haldir, think he took me in after my family's departure." His face would dim at the recollection of Haldir. "He was a stalwart man, helped me get up on my own two feet, literally. Taught me almost everything I know; Stability, communication, life in general...I do cherish those teachings every day. But alas...He is gone to me now, not dead...to my knowledge, but he had vanished in what felt like a single night, whether he left on his own accord or not remains a mystery to me." He would reclaim his thoughts and change the subject. "My apologies for the sop story. My story, yes? I pick up some work here and there, not too proficient in a particular subject. But I have titbits in a lot of subjects, so that helps keep me busy. I, uh, spend a lot of time wandering? I'm rather fond of the greener areas!" He would become increasingly more uncomfortable as he struggles to keep the conversation afloat. "I am sorry, but I do not have much more to say. As stated before, my life is not the most thrilling one, most of my days are spent wandering, trying to piece together what happened to carer." He would remain silent for a while, analysing the still-faced hag before noticing the rising moon. "Ah, it appears the moon shines upon us once more! I must depart but I hope my rambling gave you some insight into my life, despite it being an odd clump of information altogether." "Was a pleasure chatting...lady whose name I do not know, perhaps we shall meet again in due time!" He would wave farewell before swiftly departing.
