"But since I've been expecting me, I suppose guidance on the impending darkness will do just fine." I chuckle, though the hag's expression remains as enigmatic as ever.
"Swamp stew, you say?" she responds, her voice laced with amusement. "Well, that's a unique request, dear traveler. If you're truly interested in perfecting the art of swamp stew, you might just be in the right place."
With a flourish of her gnarled hand, she produces a tattered old recipe book from a dusty shelf. It's filled with handwritten notes and scribbles, some of which appear to be centuries old.
"This," she says, tapping the book, "is the ancient tome of swamp cuisine. It holds secrets known to very few, and I'm willing to share them with you."
A mischievous grin plays on my lips as I playfully continue, "And if you have any tips on how to avoid getting turned into a toad while I'm at it, that would be greatly appreciated! I hear it's a common hazard in these parts."
