You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—” Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until… You began to speak. "I'm a High Elf, although I was... and still... am usually shorter than the rest, which made me have no friends growing up, which made me shy to talk to people. But, My mother was a high elf as well, but my father was a human. My dad was taken away from me at the age of 9, because he had done a terrible crime, which lead to the death punishment." She paused. "But, after that my mom started to show me how to cook, bake, farm, and make my own clothing. But I was always good at baking. A few years later, I wanted to make her a cake for her birthday. My mom always liked lemon cakes, so I picked a few lemons from my mom's farm and started to make the cake. My mom scared me as I was squeezing some lemon juice, which made it go all over my face! it mostly got in my hair, but I said I would wash it out later..." She paused once more for the last time. "I never did. I forgot about the lemon juice in my hair as it had dried after I made my mom the cake. I went to check on my mom's farm, which took a few hours. I hadn't realized it but, the lemon that had gotten on my face and the front of my hair had made my bangs turn from the brown color it was originally, to blonde! I hadn't noticed until my mom had pointed it out. I always tell fake stories to kids about my hair to get them to laugh, since I never had any siblings. It always made me happy to see me making kids in my town I used to live in laugh and giggle. After I had turned 17, almost 18 I decided to leave. I told my mom, and then I went on my way. Thats how I made it here. I'm trying to find a place to settle down and open my very own bakery! Although I'm new to this place and I don't know anyone, I hope I can open my very own Bakery!"
