You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
As the old hag waits patiently for what Lorian has to say, he started thinking about the old life that he had traveling around the land with his mother who was a strong woman with a honarable past as a knight from a lost kingdom who also lost almost everything just to rise a wise and strong boy who can make his wiches come true.
Lorian knowing that he could learn new things from the old hag he respond in a clam tone "To be fair lady, i've just started my own journey and i don´t know what the future can bring but what i can tell for sure it's that i want to make my mother proud so i will follow his guide and live my life as my own, traveling around this vast land, meeting new people and helping others if its necesary, because i dont want to see more suffer in this lonely path". As he finishes his response, lorian gave a look at the entrance of the tattered tent thinking about the exciting world thats out there but also feared of all the dangers that are within the borders of the swampy town.
Intrigued by the wise words of Lorian the old hag looked right to the grey eyes of Lorian and so Lorian noticed that he had the olsd hag atention he asked politly "So lady if may i ask you something in return of my response? What would be an advice that u could gave me in this moment?". As soon as he finish his word Lorian stared also stared a the old lady sitting in front of him noticing the long life that she had and knowing that all that knowledge that she had could be something valuable for the futere that would come.
"What a nice young Adunian are you, to ask an old hag so politly about an advice..... jejeje". As the old hag throws a little giggle Lorian stared amased to the fact that she knows his hidden origins, origins from a long and lost linage of people who are meeting their true end. "Well young boy, what i can adice you is that the path as unkown as it is, you must be prepared to afront trouble and if you ever fail you've must never give up, just walk straight and push your own limits becuase whatever you are, be a good one"
Amazed by that last phrase, Lorian thanked the old hag for the hospitality and the knowledge that she gave him by giving her a small bag with a few golden nuggets as a gift.
Whileleaving the tent to reasume his journey Lorian felt a cold breeze and as soon as he looked behind he notice that the same old and tattered tent that was in that small and swampy spot has vanished in a second leaving no trace behind. More amazed than ever not only by the knowledge of the old lady but also by the fact of that encounter Lorian reasumed his journey to the unkown waiting for the time that he might encounter the old hag again.
