You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
With a intense atmosphere girdling the tent, that’s when a short cave dwarf with dark black skin, entered the tattered shelter cautiously. She settles onto the cushion, her eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of mischief.
"Well hello ma'am, I'm Doinky. I come from a family of adventurous cave dwellers, born deep underground. My twin brothers, Spoinky (USER : DADDY_TICKLETOES) and Yoinky (USER : UM_YE), have always been by my side in our wild escapades, and we were on our way to start our adventures.”
Doinky's voice carries a slight stutter, mirroring her brothers' speech patterns.
"We ventured through dark caverns, unearthing hidden treasures and facing our fears together. So, that’s when we decided we wanted to become great builders! But we were sadly met with unsatisfactory results. We were turned away from the big kingdoms with our heads hanging low, and nothing but ourselves to blame.”
She fidgets with her hands, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"But amidst our worries, we found joy in the thrill of our craft. Spoinky brought a playful spirit to our adventures, always finding ways to lighten the mood and bring laughter to our journey. Yoinky, was the one at the front, but wasn’t too different from us. I kept our spirits high in the darkest of times, encouraging all of us to stay strong. Thankfully, it was all worth it in the end!”
That’s when Doinky falls silent, awaiting the old hag's response, her heart filled with anticipation, but also the secret desire to be hide away from the world after letting everything out.
