You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) “Well, as they have a saying in the army or in the books that I have read *zhu quotes:* "thou shall not leave the battlefield unless ordered to do so by the higher up in command." *Zhu closes his palm forming a fist* I have broken that vow and thus disgraced my family it's sad that since I have recently become the 9th generation of my family after my father's death although we were born into poverty and peasantry, I always had a vision in mind to be successful and have my own library where I'll be able to read my own books and not needing to steal anymore from the local library *zhu pauses then continues* and one day I got caught stealing books from the local library by a nobleman, this certain nobleman instead of imprisoning me gave a more lenient punishment by forcing me to join his army to fight against barbarians after learning that I'm the only male of my family, and thus my military career began. *zhu sighs* and one day on my way to battle I got lost in a thick Forest and decided to find my way back but instead of finding my way back I found my way into a coastal town, and there I was flabbergasted to see that wanted posters of me have been put up for desertion and that's when the thought came that the nobleman planned this all along in an attempt to punish me, that's when I decided I will be chained no more and hop on a boat in that coastal town and see where it would take me and here we are today, though I still wonder why would the nobleman go through all those nuisances just to have me dead in the end?” *Zhu in a thinking pose*
