  1. A soft smile would form on the face of Elraen Lasbelin upon reading the ledger. "Perhaps with this we can begin to show the true might of Celia'nor."

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Elraen eyed the aging woman with caution. Despite this wariness, Elraen moved over to the cushion and took her seat. The elf was silent for a few moments, apparently mustering up courage, until she spoke. "I suppose like with ever good story, I should start with my homeland then..." A nostalgic smile took place as she begun recounting her tale. "Haelun'or; a place well known. I grew up wondering the halls of the Eternal Library. Those dusty bookshelves were how I learned of the world. My parents were scholars, and as such I was of little importance to them. I do not blame them for such attitudes. That is simply how we live our lives. We get embroiled in our work and never look back. I learned two things quickly, two facts I will take with me everywhere. First, information and knowledge will always win you the day. The more you know over others gives you an inherent advantage. Learn all you can and hold it close. Second, move only forward. Never look back unless its to learn a lesson. Always have ambition." Elraen paused for a few moments. She gauged the reaction of the chrone, but was met with uncaring expression. The elf flinched and quickly got back onto topic. "I had one interest, politics and statecraft. I wanted to help nurture and create something you see in the books. Armed with the knowledge of the Eternal Library, I set off into the world. That takes us to now. I have been wondering for the past years in an attempt to find my place. To find a place I can thrive. Its possible I may return to Haelun'or, but first I must finish my journey of self." With that, Elraen finished. She stood up and gave an elegant bow to the old woman before stepping out of the tent.
