You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "Well- thank you very much!" She said, a bubbly smile painted across her face as she gingerly placed herself on the cusion, trying to to rag up her dress. As she sat, she tucked rogue strands of hair back behind her ears. She placed her hand in her lap as she quielty look around the tent as if looking for invisible thought bubbles that surrounded her. "I suppose there isn't to much to say," she said, her eyes towards the older woman once more, "I'm here looking for work out in the world, away from the cities although..." she looks down at her stark-green dress that stood out in the dank of the tent. "I guess I still have a ways to go...". Her eyes travled downward in thought, "You know, growing up away from family was hard but even without much holding me back, like I see from others..." her eyes light up silently as she began to figit in her small seating arangment, "It's still hard. Moving away from everything I ever knew to work out in a ranch of all places." She laughed silently to herself for a moment before a light began to shine within her demnour once more. "Still, I do love animals!" she said suddenly, "I can't imagine it would be that hard." She straightned her back almost too an arch, the light of the waxing candles bounced aroudn playfully in her dark eyes. "These people aren't like I've ever seen before! Ranchers- a family called the 'Salazar's'." a row of delicate white teeth formed with a wide smile. "Then name alone sounds cool- and I get to work with them!" As a slight gust blew gently through the flaps of the tent, she shiverd slightly in her less-than adequate gown as she pulled the seems closer to her small body. "Speaking of..." she said near silently as she looked towards the entrance of the tent, "I should be going- a long jounrey to go!" Her radiating smile still stays as it did from the moment it enterd. As she gignerly stands and turns to leave, it vanishes from sight just before she turns away from the tents occupant that invited her. Before she steps out, she turns back, the smile in it's rightful place and her eyes darkend from her position. "And thank you very much for having me." Her last words echoes slightly before she departed into the darkness.
