You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) The man laughed and his old companion gave him a puzzled look. "Hmm took you a while to remember me, trust me one day no one will forget," he said, still chuckling. "Your face... it's priceless." As the old woman continued to stare at him, Drakon settled himself down and began to recount his life story. "My life fell apart when I was just five years old. My parents were killed by a crime group. My father fought bravely, taking down five attackers before an arrow to the head ended his life. My mother wasn’t as fortunate and was brutally murdered." He stuttered. "The group took me captive, and I spent the rest of my childhood with them. They forced me into a life of crime, involving me in robberies and other illegal activities. I always resisted, objecting to this lifestyle at every turn." He took a deep breath. "When I was about ten, the group planned a massive robbery of a local church. I couldn’t bear the thought of it and failed to carry out my part of the plan. In my anger, I screamed at them, questioning their morality. My outburst alerted the local guards, forcing the group to flee. Two of their members died during the escape. As a cruel punishment, they burnt armour onto my body leaving it permanently stuck on me." "After a while, the group got bigger and bigger, till it exploded, it had collapsed into a civil war, I quickly seized the opportunity to escape. After fifteen years of captivity, I was finally free. But freedom came with its challenges." His voice began to crack in sadness "I had no home and no family. I wandered from town to town, living a lonely life for four years. And then it leads to here, at this swamp, talking to an old hag." He laughs away his tears.
