You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Kade took a seat upon the chair in front of him, then clearing his throat once and then speaking.
"I'm uh, Kade. The Adventurer, is what I call myself. Reason for that is because, I just like to venture out daily, find something new."
Kade looked down down for a moment thinking, then raised his head again to the old woman and continued.
"But my real goal is, is to discover... Discover what you may ask? Well, discover things no one has ever seen before, and be famous for it.
Kade seemed to enjoy talking about his life goal, as his tone was more positive than it was earlier.
"I wan't to find artifacts, cool monsters, ancient cities, lost treasures, all that! I always wanted to do such things all because I just have that feeling... I just KNOW that there's so many hidden things within this world to be found. I've been doing this for a while now, but no luck. But, if I ever found such I'd be actually for once be known and famous!
Kade took a moment of silence, and his tone lowered finally finishing his story off with one last thing.
"I wan't to make my family proud me..."
