  1. *Zephyr finishes creating the shrine, stepping back to admire his work, and to think about the events that have occurred.*

    In memory of the six sages, to remind them that we will still look up to them.

    The shrine is made in the Ascended Citadel, and will be in full view of all who visit.

    To remind them that six heroes walked the very stairs they stand on.

    May the six sages, rest together with Aeriel, in peace for eternity.

    Hero’s Name:

    Zephyr

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):
    Zephyr, was born in the city of Laurelin. He lived with his parents like any other elven child would. He enjoyed playing with his bow and dull arrows, or climbing his favorite trees. He was an only child but his friends were like brothers and sisters to him. Zephyr loved his parents, and they loved him. They spent almost every minute of everyday together. Life was great for Zephyr; Until the orcs decided to attack the dwarves. His parents had good friends in Kal'Urguan. On their way to the dwarven capital they were ambushed by a group of Orc bandits. Zephyr's parents refused to give the orcs their child and sacrificed themselves for the survival of their child.
    This scarred Zephyr; and he had never felt this kind of pain in his life before. His mind filled with hatred and wished for revenge on the orcs. Wandering around after the incident he was picked up by a group of bandits. They raised him just as they were. Zephyr could feel that he was going down the wrong path, but the bandits were his only family. Zephyr stole from many, he even killed a few, only when his own life was in danger. Eventually he was corrupted by killing over and over again and began seeking more power. He was found by an Inquisitor who tempted him with the power of Iblees. Zephyr's mind began to hurt at this point. He thought of the orcs..and his parents. He couldn't refuse. He wanted to to avenge his parents. He was taken to the inquisitor's alter where Zephyr gave his blood to him. He was soon contacted and began his trials on his path to become one of them. He did awful things. Some things people shouldn't even think about comitting. He soon began to live within the Undead Keep, where he met others that have been corrupted.
    The Undead watched over Zephyr..He was almost done all his trials. They made him create torchure rooms within the keep. Zephyr was beginning to regret all he was doing. Seeing all those people suffer just tore Zephyr's heart out. It made him want to jump into the torchure cells and tell them everything would be alright. But he knew it wouldn't. The final straw was pulled when the Undead forced Zephyr to kill a family..Making them watch their loved ones as they suffered. Zephyr felt his own suffering when the orcs ambushed him and his family. Zephyr knew he couldn't forgive himself. He became what he feared most. When he was alone at the keep Zephyr snuck out and ran to safety. He knew no one would take him in. He was known to be a murderer. He went to the one place where everyone was accepted..Haven. Zephyr met a young elf building the large boats who helped him to the church. The young elf left and Zephyr was left alone, only to pray for the best. It seemed he was in there for years..but Sage Arcadius came to his plead for help. Zephyr spoke to the Sage about his actions, and his sins. Sage Arcadius spoke words of wisdom. Of how Zephyr's past actions shouldn't guide his future. And thus he was forgiven of his sins and he became a new warrior.. a new person. Of Aegis.
    Zephyr no longer wore a hood over his head. He recieved the forgiveness of the people of Aegis and was once again loved. He began helping people to the best of his ability. Something about it made Zephyr feel happy on the inside. A feeling he hadn't felt since he was with his parents. He knew that this was his rightful place. Helping the people around him. He started visiting the FOA and the Sages in their newly built citadel in the North. Sage Arcadius told Zephyr to visit him in his medititation later; A place where Zephyr has never seen before. They meditated together, which was probably one of the only times Zephyr felt so calm and well rested. Sage Arcadius asked Zephyr, "Do you hear that?". Zephyr listened and replied, "The spider downstairs?", but then heard the whispers. The whispers told him of his blood and how it had an ancient flare. When Zephyr opened his eyes, he held in his hand a Mysterious scroll, and Sage Arcadius smiling at him from across the floor.
    Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):
    Zephyr helps the people around him to the best of his abilities. The help he hands out ranges on a large scale. If there was someone who needed to talk, Zephyr would listen to them carefully, or helping someone who was hungry on the road! Zephyr enjoys seeing others smile when he helps them. To giving money to someone who was robbed, or helping someone finish building their home! Most recently, Zephyr stayed behind in the dungeon hidden within the skull helping everyone get to the exit who were lost within the mazes created by the undead. "No man left behind", is what Zephyr kept telling himself within the mazes. He also tries to stop others from making the same mistake he has made, from being infected by the Iblees taint.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Character Flaws:

    Zephyr has a couple of flaws. One that is noticed by many people is that he will not stop something that is started until it is finished. He is also a perfectionist which at times is good, but at other times saps him of all his energy. Zephyr still has the memory of the family in the undead keep and cringes everytime he thinks about it. He is still not able to get the crying father, son and mother out of his mind; Almost as if it is a broken record.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):
    Zephyr enjoys building and is currently helping in the reconstruction of Alras, but he is a warrior at mind and at soul. Ever since he was a child he was raised by his family, and then the bandits, and then the Undead. He learned how to weild his weapons in a proper manner, and how to use the special techniques of swordsmanship such as parrying. Zephyr still enjoys using his bows and arrows more in combat than the sword. Zephyr has helped lead armies to protect Aegis, thinking up plans that would be the most efficient, as to most damage to least casualties.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

    Zephyr's mindset is to try to help others to the best of his ability. Even if the help required, surpasses what he himself can do, Zephyr will still try and help them as much as he can. Zephyr thinks of himself and wishes no one to experience the pain he, himself experienced. Zephyr hopes that the people of Aegis will not make the same mistake that he has; And if they do, Zephyr will stop it nothing to save them from the corruption the Iblees taint has to offer.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):
    Zephyr thinks over the situation and tries to see through the eyes of the others. He has committed much wrong in his time, and tries to use his own experience to decide right from wrong, as he also has started committing much right for Aegis. Zephyr also tries to think ahead, of what may happen if one is right, or wrong in his opinion. He thinks of how the situation will play out once the sentence is said.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Reaction to the following situations (At least 1 Paragraph):

    1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

    In this situation, Zephyr could go both ways, but would lean more toward's Cephalus because he, himself tries to speak the truth at all times, even if it may hurt someone. Also it is important to pay off one's debts to society because society itself, would not run if the citizens did not pay off their own debts. Socrates is also right in Zephyr's opinion, but as an alternative to returning the weapon to the friend who is not in his right mind, you may try to do something else of equal value, such as pay the mina's worth of the weapon, or give them something which could help enjoy life a little more like some fresh baked bread from your own home.

    2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

    There is a lesson given in this statement which is hard to realize at first but then becomes clear. To Zephyr, 'tis nobler to take arms against a sea of trouble, And by opposing end them, because one must stand up and lead the others, to show them it is alright. If one has the courage and bravery within him, the others will help defeat the sea of trouble. And that, in my opinion is one defining characteristic of the Ascended. To show others that if they can do it, so can the warriors of Aegis.
