Xerdun

I think that you'd make a good FM. When you first popped into the Kharajyr thread about a month ago I instantly judged you by your incredibly annoying Minecraft Name. However after getting to know you better I saw that you were trustworthy, mature and considerate.

Must say I'm not too impressed with the new lock mod :(. In addition to the hassle of having to redo permissions for around 10 people to over 20 chests there isn't enough room on the chests for the number of names. Also what if someone's username does not fit on the sign?

Is there no plugin similar to LWC that we could use that isn't as wood intensive?

The rest of the updates seem pretty cool though, looking forward to those :)

I'd like to make 2 suggestions about Dark Elves :). Well, sort of. Firstly as the subrace has already been introduced I think you can close the poll as it doesn't matter whether people like the race or not now :P.

Also can you share some of the architecture. I know you've posted some pictures on the front page but I'd really love to see how they convert into minecraft :). Hope everything's progressing well with this race ^^

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: I've been roleplaying on and off for about 4 years or so. Usually I prefer to rp in single player, but with regards to multiplayer I have enjoyed minecraft rp on Aceon (a medieval roleplay server) as well as (ashamedly) 2 years of WoW roleplay

-What do you expect this server will be like?: I'm hoping that the server will provide a vast world filled with beautiful buildings, an opportunity for me to rp the character that I want to play and a social experience. One day I hope to perhaps start my own faction, however I do realise that this is ambitious and may not be possible for a long time.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Aceon and a university friend's server. The former I left due to power-mad admins, a horribly deformed landscape and the server owner was not particularly interested in his server. The latter due to a tiny userbase

-Biography: Raised on his father's small estate Xerdun and his younger siblings enjoyed a relatively comfortable upbringing. However, at the age of 10 the estate and its village was ransacked by rabid marauders. The village and home was burned to the ground and Xerdun's parents were butchered before his eyes. Along with his youngest sister, Xerdun managed to escape into the woods. There they were captured by the bandits, but were spared. Over the years both the siblings were abused heavily by the bandits, however, as they grew older Xerdun was accepted gradually into the ranks. He was taught how to wield a sword and bow, and how to live off the land. At the age of 16 he was accepted into the ranks of the brigands as one of them. However, several years later, at the age of 19, during the pillaging of a village, the bandits were slaughtered and scattered when spotted by a group of knights. Xerdun managed to escape. In the confusion he lost his sister and his friends, and is now alone in the world. With little memory of his past life all he knows is banditry, however, he may seek to turn his life around and better himself. Only time will tell where his fate shall lead him.

-Character Personality: Somewhat quiet, yet observant. Intelligence of just above average. Friendly and welcoming but will not hesitate to use others for his own ends. Lacks a moral conscience towards those he is not close to.

-Your ambitions: To make my living from the land or join a major faction and make a name for myself. As I reacquire wealth I may seek to recruit others to my cause and create an hidden brigand society, thieving and robbing from the rich ((in an rp, non-griefing way))

-Can your character read or write?: Have the ability to read and write, but not very well. My education was disrupted when I was taken captive

-Can your character mine?: Yes, during my childhood education I was taught the theories of mining, and when captured I was given some practical application through forced labour by the bandits

-Are you a capable builder? Yes but lacks the skill to create anything too ornate

-Can you wield a sword?: Relatively well. Although I am not a veteran warrior I have some experience from raiding and banditry and training as a child.

-Enjoy Farming?: Knows how to farm due to overseeing the estate during childhood but doesn't really enjoy it and is not an expert

-Does your character have any special skills?: Nothing exceptional, he can do a lot of things, but doesn't excel at any
