  1. I think it's just the things like this;

How much free time do you have? Will this change in the foreseeable future?: Enough to fulfill the volunteering position. No.

I mean, tecnically what you're saying isn't wrong, but when they wrote that question they probably wanted a numerical answer.

I'm an *******, I do not intend to change myself so that I look like a pretty piece of goodness to staff or community.

Applications are meant to make you look desirable, they are designed to try and make someone hire / accept you. This doesn't really do much. This kind of says 'I know my flaws, but I'm not changing them.'

Just my opinion btw, take it as you will.

  2. Faggotry: Overly theatrical, whiney, effeminate behavior.

90% of what you do on the server is of the above, please tone it down :^)

Any suggestions on how to go about changing my tone, when I look it over it looks straight to the point. Only my opinion -shrug-

I know I'm not Art, but I think he means that you come off  as saying all the other GM's are bad lol. It's actually a good app, and it reminds of Hwaldar's where he says he doesn't know how to bullshit in an app. You just come off as really aggressive :D Being blunt can be good, but there is a really fine line between blunt and rude.

  3. Honestly, it has been 3.5 years since the Magic Pluggin was promised. I'm legitimately suprised people haven't given up on it yet. But seriously, I don't really think a magic plugin needs to be top priority. I honestly think that new members, and a tutorial should be the #1 priority. Advertise more, get people to vote. Anything that can get more players. There just aren't as many apps as there used to be, and that will honestly be the death of the server ( eventually ). If we can get a steady stream of applicants again, then we can then move onto other issues.

  4. I think my favorite battles were The battle of Snowy fields (Aegis), Al'Khazar (Aegis), Wraths Clutch (Aegis), Siege of Kal'Dwain (Asulon),  and the Siege of Kal'Karik (Asulon), I will post my screens (If I have any on my old comp and if it's working) and some videos off youtube later.

Wrath and his group were some of the few people in Aegis who had bandit RP correct. Man I miss him :( Or did coaster play Wrath? I really can't remember :/

  5. Curry for sure, but I also wouldn't be too suprised if Klay was in there for the west. Griffin is pretty much always gonna be there, and same for Bryant unless he's still injured. The East, as usual, are just filled with pile upon pile of ****. I mean, Rose will more than likely be there, but mainly to generate a crowd. He hasn't been bad, but just not amazing either.

And after I just wrote that all, I realised you meant who will win, not who will be in the teams. West for sure, but the games are always fun when they get above 140 points.

    Hello, my friends!

I am a simple Elf, who goes by the name Aryon. Back in Aegis, I was a skilled smith, capable of crafting many armors, weapons and tools at a whim. Alas, Aegis and Galahar have fallen into something of the past, and it would appear 120 odd years later I am a bit rusty in terms of smithing. It is for this reason that I reach out to the edges of the nations, and wish to pick up a Blacksmith master, willing to re-teach me the ways!

The note ends with a signature, and the search for a master begins.

  7. Last time I had a talk like this with a GM, I'm pretty sure they said that they usually talk in the Skype chat about the punishment / whether to unban. It's not just like the decision is of one member ( most of the time ), usually the team would probably agree on something. I don't really have an opinion on the actual thread, just sharing that when people say every GM has different ban rules, 3-4 people usually considered it.

  8. Eh, you need to be an active member within the community/server to be apart of any staff team. Regardless if it's Forum Moderator. Though, if we do get new Forum Moderators again, they should be able to explain their point of view (say, the reason why they warned someone) without resorting to something similar to above.

I pretty much agree with all your points, and honestly that images I posted above were more of a joke than anything else. Believe it or not I've actually been mildly active on these forums, even though I haven't posted a whole lot. As for the 'able to explain their point of view' if this was a serious situation, such as warning someone as you said, then I wouldn't send them a meme or something like that. Just considering this is an application though, I decided that it wouldn't really matter a huge amount if I had a bit of fun with it. I can see your point though, so I'll try not to have mess around with my applications. If you still wanna talk about this, shoot me a PM :D

  9. Real Name: Matt Scott

    In-Game Name: _Aryon_

RP Name: Yuric Doomforged, and Aryon

Time Zone: UTC 10+ [sydney, Australia]

How long will you be online a week: I probably couldn't give a specific number, but I usually keep a tab of LotC forums open while doing most things and refresh every 5-10 minutes. I should be on enough to moderate what needs to be moderated.

Experience: I worked as an FM for these forums for two months before quitting due to workload in real life. I was also on the App Team for around 1 year, and Event Team for 3 months or so. As far as I'm aware, I haven't abused any of the powers that these ranks gave, so I'd say I'm pretty trustworthy.

Why should I be an FM: I think that in the past I did my job as an FM well, and I believe I Could do that again. I like to think that I have a good grasp on when I can be more fun and enjoyable, and when it's time to work. I can bring a light sense of humour to something, or be completely serious when I need to. I have the experience doing this, so I think I would be fine.

Other Info: Nothing much. I would do a slammin' n jammin' job if I became an FM?

  10. Honestly I'd say just do what we did in Aegis, and let the nation leaders sort stuff out. Say there is one party who wants to go to battle against another party, aslong as there is agreement and sufficient numbers, I really don't think there would be a need to fill out a whole warclaim. If someone wants to bring the whole nations siege weapons and their armies of 6999142 men then they'd need to fill out a warclaim. Just use some common sense; warclaim if it is literally a war, internal organisation if its just a raid or something like that.
