*You find a leaflet pinned to your nations notice boards. You begin to read it.* Westfall Legion "If you wish for peace, prepare for war." The region of Westfall is filled with valuable resources and wealth, and what comes with wealth and valuables comes enemies and bandits who wish to have this for themselves, instead of giving to the people of which are in need of it. The Westfall Legion was setup by various officials in order to stop these enemies and bandits from taking the valuables, and most of all, to protect the innocent citizens of the region of Westfall who do nothing but work hard for the greater good of Asulon, which is why I urge YOU to join, whether you can be a benefit towards the legion or possibly fight for it. We are apart of Renatus' numerous military forces, but fear not, we are very unique compared to them in terms of our planning and what we do. We search across the lands for the greatest swordsmen and archers, and to accompany this we have excellent training facilities, morale and resources to help you master your chosen skill. If you do join the legion, you shall be fitted with equipment and shelter, aswell as fine training facilities and training expeditions setup to further your skill. You will also be paid for your work, aswell as most of your expenses covered by the Legion, including food and equipment you need. Westfall Legion Ranking System Each of the ranks provide their own benefits, aswell as entitling you to a certain amount of pride and respect throughout the lands. Trainee/Reserve Guard:- You are a newcomer to the ways of the bow/sword, and you will be trained up until you are an experienced fighter and deemed fit to battle. Guard:- You have been deemed fit to guard the cities and towns around Westfall, or whether you are placed, and may be called upon to fight. (Can be either Archer or Swordsman) Legionnaire (bow/sword/axe):- You have now gained the status to fight in battles of which you have been deployed to. You will also be invited to sometimes lead training exercises. Assistant to the Legate:- You have now been promoted to become an Assistant. This is a valuable position, as your say is valued by the commander of the Legion, and you be setting an example for those you lead into battle. You will hold many responsiblities. such as planning tactical decisions, training exercises and most of all keep morale high. If you fail to do this to standard, you shall be demoted. Strategic Advisor:- You will now be planning, along with the Assistants to the Legate and the Legate, the tactics that are used in battle and will be ordered to observe the tactics of other nations. You will need to be very skilled at your work, as one day your decision may win the battle, or worst case scenario, lose the battle. Spy/Intel:- You are now well trusted throughout the Legion, and take orders directly from the Legate of the Legion. You will need to be trained in stealth, gathering important documents from the enemy, or even assassinating men for the good of the war we're fighting. (May need a VA, need a check on that.) Legate:- Head of the Legion and gives the orders on the battlefield. Has to be tactical, a born leader and keep the Legion organization intact. You will have to talk to the Legate before joining. *The hooded man once again walks back upto the note, seeing another message. He then replies to this message underneath it.* On many occasions, Lord Zibaen Vivyaen has visited us and has given us his consent to build on his land. He acknowledges our presence. I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, he is the Lord of Western Renatus. I do also believe that a man by the name of Lord Nico, I believe it is, has also given us consent to build here. I do not see why this is such a big deal, however. We would have never made this city without the consent of the lords. The city is relatively new, but we are the ex-founders of Greenshire and as you may or may not know, we have moved and renamed to what it is today, Westport City. If you wish to ask more questions however, I do believe we should meet, rather than speaking on notices, and I will get the higher officials to clarify our position and our status within the kingdom of Renatus. We have a wide range of houses, public buildings and jobs available, aswell as providing protection for you and your families and having a thriving community! Westport City is a new city and was formed by the ex-founders of Greenshire. We are democratic people, and host parliament sessions regularly aswell as maintaining your safety and protection with our Militia. He and his brothers was used to just have his life handed on a plate to them, usually. Lucas had ADHD, and his parents didn't know what was wrong with him. He needed to be constantly entertained. This was also why he was home-schooled, after he couldn't pay attention in school, unlike his brothers who went to school. This is how he learned how to read and write. He could get whatever he wanted due to his father's hard work. His father, Robert, was a successful inventor and invented various things of which brought money into the family, and helped take care of all four brothers. Before he knew it, reality hit him, and his brothers too. They was a teenagers, and after his father wasn't bringing in the same amount to hire people to do the chores around the house, they had been given chores to do around the house - and Lucas, was unprepared, this was all new to him. Every chore was hardwork. As he progressed, he began to know how to mine, craft, and sometimes he farmed. However, this wasn't his greatest skill and he soon opted out of farming, however his brothers didn't. As he progressed, he moved out his parents house, but his brothers stayed however, and went exploring. He then began to invent like his father, until he thought he could do better fighting rather then crafting. As he progresed, he earned money, enough to buy more items and began exploring and fighting, until he found a few people to adventure with. He is now beginning the adventure in Oren, and his income is in the lumber business. He has been assigned to various jobs to collect lumber to help Oren prosper and expand. However, for now, he hasn't been as successful as he was. Without the support of his parents, Lucas appears to be struggling by himself. His arrogance got the better of him, and even with economic help by friends, he continues to struggle.
