  1. I did not plan on announcing my resignation to the people until we had chosen our next leader, but I assure you that I am still going to be there to help the people of Malinor to the best of my abilities.

(The reason I am stepping down is because school is getting a little busy and I would rather have someone who can be around more than I am to run the nation. I also am having stress and health problems and I should focus on getting myself in a better place mentally and physically before I have the added stress of a nation making things worse for me.)

Very soon we will be holding a series of activities around the fair elven city of Laurelin. Every race is welcomed to participate, and we will forget all the troubles of today and let loose for a bit of well deserved fun.

Firstly I would like to say that I would like to hold a battle of the boats. This is something that has not been done in such a long time. Two teams, five to each boat, try to outlast each other in an exhausting display of one's fighting ability.

Each contestant gets one sword, a bow, and thirty two arrows. It is 200 minas to join, and each member of the winning team receives 1000 minas.

Following this event, we will retire to the sister city community house for some free food, dancing and some ale.

    The Celebration of Malin

It is with great pleasure that we are to hold a grand festival in the coming weeks. A celebration of Malin, and the new year. As elves we have gone through many changes in the last few years. A new High Prince, new council members, and a new look for our fair Capital. So, we wish to give back to all our brothers and sisters in throwing a grand celebration.

The festival will take place all through the city of Laurelin. All races are welcome, as there will be activities for all. We are hoping for some fine dwarven ale to quench your thirsts, and possibly even arena events.

There will be plenty to do and see in this festival. And I wish for you all to send me letters to suggest events that would make this festival more enjoyable.

We are also in need of pine wood, and materials needed for the event.

    With all my love

  4. This is a list of people that have posed a threat on the peaceful nation of Malinor. They are not welcome and are to be turned away from our walls.

    1. Vardak

    2. Belyn - Deceased

    3. Kane - Deceased

    4. Brevias - Undead/Deceased/Healed?

    5. The Kaxil Clan

    6. Mithas

    7. Aedan

    8. Relgard

    9. Polcari - Deceased

  5. The matter has been settled. Thul will do as he pleases, and agrees to spend some time with his own race.

I assure you that relations with our neighbors will get better.

..and Ebs, think to who you are speaking to before you make threats like that. The warmistress is my niece...and Her and the warlord are part of my family.

  6. I agree with Mira, stop this pointless bickering and focus on what is truly important. We should be united, and not let something as insignificant as fighting over an orc cub break our bonds. Forget about the past and lets focus on the problems at hand. Aegis is falling apart, and we need to come together to help save what is left of it.

As I said, Mogroka and I will decide what is to become of Thul, and we will decide what is best for him.

Stop this endless talk of war and fighting. There will be no fighting, and the treaty still remains. I don't even know why you are all still fighting over this. Yes, a mistake was made by both parties involved. Elves, we were wrong in looking after Thul without thinking what his real family thought. We must remember that he is still an orc, and that his orc family may want him back.

I am disappointed in the elves involved in this, we should not fight our neighbors, but remember what they have done for us, and all we have done for them.

This is about Thul, not about what we may or may not have done in the alliance. Think of the cub, and not your pride. End this pointless argument.

  7. * Posts a notice on the noticeboard in Laurelin

I've noticed a growing numbers of individuals hiding themselves while walking about our fair city. This makes myself and a number of individuals extremely uneasy around these individuals. What

I ask is that you refrain from hiding your face while walking through Laurelin, this includes wearing :

    Hoods

    Helmets

    and Pumpkins

I assure you that this is only a safety measure that I wish to take, and that all Vanguard and Wardens ask those hiding their faces to explain themselves.

    Thank you

    High Princess Indelwehn

  8. The warlord, Haelphon and I will decide what will be best for little Thul. When we found him, he was lost in our forests and confused. He was sick from the rain and terrified of everyone that came near him. For the first couple weeks the princes and princesses looked after him, keeping him out of trouble and making sure he didn't get lost again.

We once took him on a trip to Krugmar, to meet his family, but the orcs there scared him so he wanted to come back to Laurelin.

I understand fully why you want him back in the sands of Sanhar, and that you want him to become a true orc. Yet we must also consider what the cub wants for himself, as he is very bright for his age and has showed great talent in alchemy along with his wish to become a druid. I will not let him go without the proper training, as he must learn how to protect himself. Would it even be possible for the orcs to train him, and for him to live as he wishes? I have seen elves live as orcs, yet why can it not be the other way around? If Thul wishes to stay with us, respect his wish and let him. He will not become as weak as you believe, as I will see to it myself that he grows up strong.

I am also quite disappointed in the orcs that stormed Laurelin, as they did so without warning. I tried to calm them down, but I was drug back to Krugmar by Bog, as the group of orcs stormed my house to find Thul, I was terrified to hear this as my three year old was with Thul and he easily could have been hurt.

My only wish is to keep the peace between our nations, as the treaty still stands as it always has. If you have any problems with anything involving orc-elf relations, please speak to me before acting irrationally.

  9. *Stands in front of the sister city community house, dressed in black, the signs of tears remain on her face. Beside her sits a newly dug grave, marked with a grave marker of dark wood and gold*

My dearest friends, we’re all here today for one reason,

To remember the life of our beloved Prince Mylas.

As many of you may have heard, our prince’s life was cut short by the hands of an assassin, a mad woman named Belyn who had tried to do the same to me once before.

But Mylas’s life is not over, he still lives among us, if you listen carefully, you can almost hear his laugh being carried through the wind. He will never truly leave us, for I’m sure his spirit will live on in some way, and I would gladly welcome it.

He is in a far better place now, in a world of peace and harmony, where all can walk fearlessly and without worry. To Troll without limits.

Mylas and I were made a Prince and Princess of Malinor on the same day, and

Since that day we grew closer and closer together,

I never thought of him as a friend, but as the brother I never had.

He was never really a big brother, nor a little brother to me, but both.

He was a little brother in the sense that he was a little trickster, always nagging me and

    Joking about.

But he was the best big brother I could ever ask for

    *tears up*

He was always looking out for me, helping me when I needed it…

He was there that day that the undead threw me off the wall in Galahar, and helped carry

    me home to Malinor…

My only regret is not helping Mylas live his dream… he always wanted to live in the sewers of Al’khazar, I promised to build him sewers in Laurelin to live in… but I guess that will never happen.

I made the promise mainly because I never wanted to get on his bad side, King Enor refused Mylas’s pleas to live in the sewers of Oren, and Mylas always joked about killing Enor since that day. But I secretly wanted to make Mylas happy, as he is such a special elf.

I know that a lot of people never liked Mylas, but those people never truly knew him.

Mylas was the most caring, happiest elf I ever knew, he took care of the sister city like it was his child. Always making it better than I could eve think possible…

As part of the council of Malinor, you get to know your fellow elves.

I never once thought as the people of malinor as just elves,

They are my family, every single one of us are Malin’s children

All of us, brothers and sisters,

Let us all say goodbye to our dear Mylas,

Prince, friend and Brother of Malinor.

*bows her head, turning and placing a single red rose on the grave, wiping tears from her eyes*
