The definition of screwing over in this context is. Everyone has access to terrifyingly powerful magics now, with no regulation to make them learn what the hell they are attempting. I believe the only problem with the magic system was the mages hoarding magic and not being willing to teach those who have the ability to understand its gravity in RP. This response is the mountain compared to the mole mill.

No. Magic isn't an instant 'I win because I wrote an application 4 months ago' tool anymore. It'll open up to more creative roleplay.

Why have you decided to create an SM application?: It has been a bit of a while since I tried this, partly out of the expectation of applications like this either being trashed or simply left to die. But hey, you need to try before you succeed. I made this application to adress my desire to actually help adress the problems rather than just sitting aaround Teamspeak a discussing them with less than proper vocabulary. I have been having a good streak for a while now with a few expected hiccups along the way, and I would like to expand on it. Hopefully in every place from modreqs to assisting new players.

I would love to, but I have had a bad history and cannot post them all. Simply because I cannot find them all. I struggling greatly to change from that path.

What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?

1. The possibility to completely lose is a major factor in events in my opinion. It is no fun if you are guaranteed to win everything. So a possibility of utter failure builds the amount of fun and suspense.

2. Largely unknown circumstances and mid event surprises help. If completely new threat or circumstance comes about in the middle or in the tail end of an event, it would throw a new spin onto the entire situation for the players themselves to tackle.

What type of events are you most interested in creating?

Primarily Monster V Players events. I would like to assume that I enjoy those the most and prefer those over separate types of events. Yet I feel I would enjoy most styles of events.

What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team?

    I would like to say my primary strength is my activity. I am on most of the time during the day. Aside from that, I do a lot of research into older legends and myths to pull my event ideas from.

Create three distinct RP scenarios/events that you, as an actor, could create for others (one paragraph each):

    The Queens Coin Purse-  (Required actors- one to play a queen or the queen herself. The rest is up to the players) You see a reward notice tacked to the many message boards of Salvus  and surrounding cities. The notice reads that the Queen has lost her coin purse containing a letter she needs desperately to be returned. She is offering a small reward for any brave adventurer who will this damsel in distress.

This event would be good for a large group of people  for a small event. Contained within perhaps salvus or another city. The coinpurse would more than likely contain the reward for finding it it.

The Silver Wolf- (4-5 actors, 3-4 as hunters/trappers. One to act as the wolf)  Rumors and reports of a massive silver furred timberwolf spotted amongst the cliffs outside Malinor. With the rumors comes an influx of hunters and fur traders  into the area. Looking to take the beast’s silver fur for their own. Whispers of the beast being magic inflame these desires even more and a all-out hunt has been declared for the Wolf.

This event could easily be done using mob disguise and would primarily up to the playerbase on how they react. If a GM or Admin would take a piece of white wool and name it  “The silver wolf’s pelt” or something along those lines.

The Eight Legged Invasion- A man with ragged clothes, torn and tattered comes careening into the city. Babbling and completely incomprehensible. His cries are of eight legged demons coming in mass to the city. To most he seems like a madman but after the guard have carted him away, a sound is heard. Small at first and growing in strength. Guards look over the walls from their parapets and  see a black mass approaching from the forest. The gates come falling down and the city stops. All able to fend off the beast gather to the center of the town. Ready to defend their home.

This event is surprisingly simple only needing one Actor and one GM. And provides a very large group with a mix of adrenaline pumping fighting and a bit of insane rp that gives them a change of pace.

I did forget to mention this until now, but I have already been doing small events on the side for some of my friends. Having found it quite enjoyable, I would like possibly to help expand that pool of people I make events for by being an ET.

Vice has shown to me he can improve himself upon feedback, something a moderator needs in order to grow and develop. Vice has improved majorly and has not rushed to reapply, which shows he is capable of being patient and collected about his decisions. I have little doubt about his capability, and wish him luck in his future here on LoTC.

I have come to the same consensus as Vol. This player wants to change. Change his perspective and change how he is viewed. I believe regardless of any of your past views of him that he would do his job not for himself but for the betterment of LOTC.

Experience: I have moderate experience as a forum moderator on another Celestial Dreams Minecraft Server. On that server I had the role of two teams combined into one, more or less. I had the job of moderating the forums, coming up with forum event ideas and collaborating with another FM/APP team member. This being because two members of the team were required for each Whitelist Application. Aside from this, general advising players on rules both Forum and Server. Thankfully, I only had to settle a few arguments. What fun. All chaos aside, I would like to think my FM abilities are well enough to perform on the server.

Why I should be a FM
I believe I should be an FM for simply because I believe I can do some good for the server. I would like to believe I have mostly thrown aside my more spiteful tendencies, been forgiven by or have forgave most of the people I have had conflict with. That fact alone makes me happy at the progress. The larger majority of my time spent on the forums has been in recent months. I am trying to become more active on the forums in all respective fields.




Other Info: On a more personal note about my career on Lord of the Craft. I, like a few others, have been looking at the position of FM for a while. Seeing it as a stepping stone to a place where I can make a larger, more positive impact on our server. Forums and all.
