  2. Ellser ambles along the gravel path, piercing his eyes towards the construction site. "Something in the works..." he mutters quietly to himself, nodding to Lafthi in greeting as he passes by, continuing to meander down the path.

  3. Name: Ellser'cyrusa Galleon

    [[MC Name]]: tigergamer

    Age: 463 years of age.

Magic Forms Known: I claim to have knowledge on Electrical evocation,  however not nearly enough to call myself a novice. I am merely researching and practicing at this point.

How do you lay claim to the fact you are pure mali'aheral? I do live within our walls. Is that not fact enough?

How long has one resided within the Lin'evaral? Not long, almost one elven week, however I have yet to claim/be given a home.

Is one associated with any other guilds? Not at this moment, no.

Will you follow the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya to the letter in the pursuit of arcane knowledge? Yes.

What magical knowledge do you wish to acquire, if any? To learn more on the science of Electrical evocation and the void. Also perhaps fire evocation or this 'said' telekinesis.

  4. Upon entering the Eternal library, Ellser meanders through the wondrous shelved walls. Intrigued by the books wild fabulous colors he stumbles across a table with a small pile of paper and an application form. He presses his thumb to his tounge, lifting a single piece of paper. Turning on his heels, he walks over to the table, seating himself comfortably. "Shall we begin?" he mutters as he lifts a fine ink pen and presses it to the paper.

    [MCName]: Tigergamer

Origins of your birth, and your place of living: My origins lie in the fallen Elven capital of Aegis, Laurelin. As of now, I currently reside nowhere.

How can you declare you are Mali'thill? I once lived in the High Elven city on the island, Kalos. Additionally, I am son of two High Elves and share their physical features and traits.

Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? To be apart of and assist this prospering community.

What is your personal vision for our blessed race? To further our knowledge and overcome any troubles that arise. To strive and learn.  To live healthy and progress.

What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? To live and prosper in good health, and to learn, create and progress.

What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: The phrase "lle". With good intention and kindness, you will go far.

What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college? Musical arts.

What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together? Personally, I would think nothing of it. Their matters and reasoning for such are none of my concern.

Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the mali’aheral? I have nothing to hide, nor anything to say.

    Signed            Ellser Galleon
  5. Academia - The Arcane College

“Magic, the power of influencing the course of events through supernatural forces.”

    Summary

Academia is a professional organization founded 14 years after the arrival to Anthos with the ambition of centralizing magic and alchemy alike. Dedicated to research, study and teach, those in Academia should have interest in exploration and learning. We are not just a college to learn in, but a family to feel at home with. Treat others well and you will be treated well in return. Academia also homes a small nook shop selling products from potions to alchemy ingredients and ancient tombs to robe attire, all to add to your vast, or minuscule collection.

As a band of Mages, Inventors,  Alchemists and Scholars, having magical related skills is favourable to those without, however those with the willpower, intelligence and dedication to work hard are quite often become more skillful than those already with it. As a college and settlement alike, we have the right to an alliance, however in times of war, the order is to stay neutral and take no sides no matter the consequences. Magic is a powerful, yet beautiful weapon, but with a corrupt alliance it could turn the world sour.

    Location

The Academia is soon to be located on the beautiful rolling hills east of the Elven gates. Inheriting the large ancient trees, the warm midday sun and cool pleasant breeze. Follow the river bed east after crossing the Elven bridge and you will soon reach the currently under construction Academia. Any aid in materials is greatly welcome for the building process.

    The Commandments

    I. You do not steal or destroy college property.

II. You do not commit murder or assault another guild member.

III. You do not use magic for personal gain or wealth.

IV. You do not take sides in times of war.

    V. You do not teach magic outside of the guild.

VI. You should be willing and enthusiastic to learn.

    Ranks

    The Eldritch Council

The council are the backbone of the order and the settlement overall. They keep everything running smoothly, leading the order to a brighter future daily. They are the most powerful of all users in the Academia, though do not assert dominance over anyone. Upon reaching a idea or conclusion, a council member can bring to light the issue they have, and the group will then vote upon how they plan on fixing it. Generally speaking there will likely be one council member for each branch, later expanding to 2 or more members. They operate similar to a democracy, going with the option that a majority agrees with. If any of the council members are missing, a sorcerer will be elected into the seat either for temporary decisions, or permanently.

    Sorcerers

Sorcerers operate as the right hand man/woman of the order. They are the go to people the council will use whenever they need a task completed, and operate as the second most powerful users in the order. They are also potential candidates for the council, and if they show themselves capable would be voted in at times of need. The Sorcerers also operate as recruiters, observing those who apply to the order in order to see if they would be good candidates. They will at times be sent to do deeds for the Council.

Sorcerers are significantly more powerful, intelligent and creative than the Arcanist, Scholar and Alchemist.

    Arcanist

Developing, forging and practicing the study of Arcane magic. The Arcanist is the result of a Journeyman studying the science of Magic.

    Alchemist

Testing, indulging and creating potions of all different natures. The Alchemist is the result of a Journeyman studying Alchemy.

    Scribe

Studying, teaching and learning about ancient artifacts, ruins and tombs. The Scholar is the result of a Journeyman studying artifacts.

    Journeyman

Journeyman have completed their apprenticeship and are educated in their trade. Given full access to all areas of the Guild hall, Journeyman have the ability to request a grand-task to ascend into the next tier. Alchemist, Scribe or Arcanist.

The Journeyman answers to the Sorcerers and the Eldritch council members.

    Apprentice

Upon reaching the guild hall, the Associate is given access to basic materials and a dorm in the college. Soon after, the Associate is given the choice to progress in Alchemy, Magic or Research. After choosing, they are designated a teacher to receive tasks from. Upon completing tasks, Associates progress in the guild. They are free to continue learn from their teacher, or delve into independant research.

The Apprentice answers to Scribes, Alchemists, Arcanists, Sorcerers and the Eldritch council members.

    Associates

An Associate is hand selected by the upper council of the guild and is gifted a scroll as right of way to join the guild. Upon receiving a scroll from a member of the upper council the Associate may either decline or accept and bring the scroll to the college.

    Civilians

Civilians, while not part of the order, are still treated with the respect of anyone else. Anyone may join the settlement as a civilian. Should someone be willing to commit themselves to such a whimsical life and pledge themselves to the town, they will receive many benefits. Such as protection and cheaper products. In return for living under Academia’s protection, civilians are expected to aid the order in times of crisis.

    What are we about?

Academia is unique role-play experiences for magic users and normal players alike. Anyone is welcome to stop by and role-play there. The server has been filled lately with large amounts of “Low-Fantasy” elements, Academia is an attempt at unifying the high fantasy feel all located in one location.

    Application

The application process works in a very similar way to the current antagonist application format, however it is not compulsory therefore even if you haven't applied, there is still a chance of being given a scroll. Your application with be neither denied or accepted. After being witnessed in-character by an Eldritch council member there is a chance you will, or will not receive a scroll from them shortly after. This application is merely to show your interest.

  6. Slid under the ancient oak doors, a small worn letter lay on the cold stone flooring. At closer inspection, a small crimson seal is noticed under the slick layer of snow topping the envelope, below that it reads in fine elegant hand writing.'Academia'. Upon opening the envelope, a pale parchment is retrieved.

"To all those here at the Mage's college.

After the unfortunate fall of Ambros, it appears the college has grown quiet. In progress to repair that, I have spent sleepless nights crafting, writing and designing a new place to live and strive in peace. All those here in the college are welcome to live here, but I am certainly not forcing anything. If you would rather stay in the Wyvern college, then that is your choice. If you are interesting, and wish to learn more, have the letter returned to the Elven lands."

[if you'd like to know more, PM on the forums and I'll send you the google dock. --Applies to mage's guild members only.]

  7. Uhm, I'm kinda unsure why Emerald, Obsidian and Lapis would be used in the mines. Emerald has almost no use whatsoever, Obsidian  can be used to build with but its not used often even when everyone on the server had the ability to get it and Lapis, well, it's just for the looks really. Other then that, I'd love to see Quartz be available so I'm all up for that being in a mine.
