Hey there! Well, you may have been wondering why we randomly restarted off of schedule? That my friends was the implementation of event team pex. So. Get your apps out if you haven't posted or are still trying to decide! You got a day or so before I start looking through apps and interviewing you, my friends.
This time around we're building a much more smaller team to keep better track of everything so be warned if you're not contacted for an interview!Good luck, have fun.

Hello! This will be a brief post seeing as there’s not really much to say. If you’re still interested in applying for the Event Team come 5.0, please copy and repost your app following our cleansing of the current apps in the sub forum. This is being done to better grasp who’s still looking to apply come 5.0, since we have a substantial amount of apps but lack information on who’s still motivated. With this in mind, it should be known that we will be axing our current roster in favor of having a clean slate for the Isles of Axios. The reason this is being done is because we want to have a smaller, more compact team that’s focused more on quality than quantity.
Because of us being in this somewhat catatonic state for so long we figured it’d just be better to start anew and rebuild. We will be bringing in some old faces and fresh candidates once again as we begin from scratch. We’re hoping to establish an event request function as to better allow players to ask for events in-game, much like the modreq system currently in place for the GMs. I wish you all the best of luck, and I hope that this smooths relations to a degree and gives you some insight into what’s currently happening.

Doesn't it feel weird we see more application posts than actual RP posts on the forums nowadays? Or has it always been like that. I can hardly remember.

The Compendium plays a major part in the creation of a pact,
so long as a contract follows "Da Rules" it could become a possibility.
So any ideas for pacts can be submitted and just might be added to Abhorrent Pacts!

I believe the Strigae have enough cons as it stands. And as KBR put it simply, the Day to Night cycle is unreliable on our server. Besides, if anything, you could institute a season or month possibly they could be stronger. Like a "Blood Moon" of sorts perhaps? Though that also seems like a bit much. The Date Plugin is reliable.

I believe a test would be excessively redundant. Players that apply should be trusted like any other creature. There is no need for it.

That or test it as an ET only for two months or however long and then decide to spread to the eyes. Though if the testing fails then the lore is denied?
Its stated on the lore that RP would be engaged and then they would have to follow through with a Creature Application. I also as the Event Director believe these creatures are more than capable of being portrayed by players. Golems, Frost Witches, and any other creature have their own players that apply and work with. Strigae have definitely more than enough weaknesses to be playable by anyone on the server and even yourself.

Summarize the Lore of this Magic:
An ancient art only ever known by few within the annals of Druidic history. The gift of transformation of one into a beastial form has only ever been bestowed upon the most devout within the Order, starting with one whom was said to be granted such power by Cerridwen herself. Only a single tome has ever been transcribed with the ability to unlock the knowledge and power in following the Trials of Spirit. Always requiring another shapeshifter to help guide their student through this journey.
The Trials are made up of the Task of Acceptance, where the druid is sent on a guided journey through granted vision to find their spirit animal to gain its trust. The Task of Strength, the druid now having gained the trust of their spirit animal must challenge and defeat it. Afterwards preparing a ceremonial burial as they gather what remains to send its spirit off and collect their pelt. Then finally, the Ritual of Change. A ritual located within the secret den of the shapeshifters. This ritual requires another shapeshifter to help guide their brothers and sisters through a ceremony which the power is unlocked and their pelt is adsorbed into their being. Forcing them into transformation for the very first time, that time lasting little more over a day. Once over, their Ritual of Change has been completed and the Druid has successfully been granted the gift of Cerridwen.
Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student. (Do note, we will be contacting aspiring teachers for a quick interview, to try to better gauge your knowledge and understanding): "Read this book."
