  1. The Veiled Shadow reads the flier, and slowly he chuckles, "It seems others have taken note of Oren's corruption." The Veiled Shadow purses his lips, "I do not believe they have what it takes to see this through. Perhaps we could use them... As they are stupid enough to post a flier on a road." The Veiled Shadow takes a deep breath in, and sighs, "This rebellion will be dealt with in a matter of days." The Veiled Shadow quickly looks around for anyone, and runs off along the road, continuing on his path.

  2. For aesthetics you mean? Or do you mean for us to somehow make the tunnels actually cave in with people mining in them? Good idea though :)

Both. I think it would be neat if you were deep in a mine with some people and it caves in. It would make for some great RP, as well as change the lay out of the mines a little. How to actually perform the cave-in is beyond me. Maybe using TNT or world edit.

  3. The Charity Bandit and his Jolly Men

Deep within Oren, in House Valois land, a charity home
resides. The Charity Bandit runs the charity home, along with his fiancée. Rain
falls, morning is coming. Peace is upon the land. A fire from the stove
crackles, as Alexis is preparing breakfast for herself, her fiancée, and her
fiancée’s cousin. The room is warm, the Charity Bandit is awaiting breakfast at
the table, as his cousin enters.

“Cousin, come close. I must speak with you,” The Charity
Bandit speaks as he turns to his cousin and reclines in a chair.
    “What is it?”
    The Veiled Shadow responds.

“Our cause has been very successful so far, but I feel we
are placing ourselves in too much danger. We must recruit followers… Followers
who are loyal to our cause and share the same desire to bring justice to Oren.”

The Charity Bandit leans forward in his chair, facing the now sitting Veiled
Shadow. The Veiled Shadow remains silent and looks to the bandit.

“However...” the bandit turns, “It is risky. We must be sure of who we recruit.

One wrong move and we will be caught.” The bandit turns to the shadow, “You will help

recruit, my cousin. My fiancé and myself are going to remain here, and stay hidden. We

are to be married soon, and the last robbery was cutting it close.”

The Veiled Shadow perches forward in his chair, speaking. “My cousin. I will see to

finding some men. Men that are loyal to the cause of purging Oren of its corruption. You stay

here, open your charity home to the hungry, and prepare your wedding. I will take the reigns

for a while cousin. I will bring you men.” The Veiled Shadow stands from his chair, heading

to the door before stopping to turn back. “What are we to call the men, cousin?”

Reclining back in the chair, the Charity Bandit ponders
to himself, going quiet for a moment.
“Call them the Jolly men of Oren,” he
responds with a smirk as he stands from his chair, retreating to his quarters.

The Veiled Shadow remains silent as he watches his cousin
egress the room. He turns to the door, heading out into the rain.

  4. *You read a flier posted in Cloud Temple. It reads the following, with rather bad handwriting*

My name is Tyler Riverstone, and I am selling wood. I've got around four stacks of spruce wood. I'm askin' for around 50 minas per stack, so if yer interested, senda' bird over to Salvus (dyehu).

  5. Royal Chaplain Edward Howell turns to Uthor with a polite dip of his head. He looks back to the charity bandit with a slight frown.

"I don't have anything against you being charitable, I simply would rather encourage people to buy the bread in this fine city that is less than a mina. It would definitely help the humble farmers that make a living off of selling food. Well I'll be off."

Edward sighs slightly as he turns on his heels and heads back to the Kingston church for prayer.

Tyler thinks to himself, "Who said we didn't buy the bread..."

  6. The Veiled Shadow stands behind The Charity Bandit, helping him pass out food to the poor. "Only the corruption of Oren shall be purged. All other things shall remain," he says quietly to his cousin. He then takes off his hood, revealing his blonde hair, and brown eyes. Tyler thinks to himself, "It must start here. With the oppressed rising up against those who make them suffer." The Veiled Shadow ponders the faces of those coming to receive bread, and tries to be remember their names.

  7. Upon hearing the bounty for his cousin, a hooded Tyler chuckles to himself, "Aye. He has done well. Our cause shall be known throughout the land of Oren." Tyler looks around the large crowd gathering, and quickly makes his way out of the city. Once on the road, he sends a bird to The Charity Bandit, "Well done," he writes, and sends the bird on it's way. Tyler takes off into the woods, pondering who would be the next victim.

  8. Tyler reads the flier, and smiles to himself, "Someone who shares my hatred for Oren. Perhaps we might be able to help one another."  Tyler stands there for a moment, plans formulating in his mind. Aware that he may be spotted, Tyler looks around for anyone looking, and once he was satisfied that no one was looking at him, he quickly takes the flier, stuffs it in his bag, and swiftly runs through the gates of Salvus,

You come across a massive ruin of
ancient design, strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures in the
corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out what
they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

Tyler thought to himself, “Perhaps they are speaking of that mysterious structure I found early today.”

He also thought to himself, “These men look suspicious. Surely something that
incredible must have power that some would see to obtain. I should try and
follow them.” The two hooded figure’s conversation drew to a close, and they
both stood up and quickly went out the bar’s wooden doors. Sneakily, Tyler put
up his hood, and began to follow the two hooded figures. Tyler darted from tree
to tree, watching the two hooded figures whisper to one another still, as they
headed towards the direction of the artifact. However, as Tyler was watching
the two hooded people, he face ran into a branch and rustled the leaves. The
two hooded figures spun around extremely fast, and rushed over to where they
heard the noise. Tyler thought quickly and decided to climb up the tree, and
made almost no noise while he did so. Once the hooded figures finally reached
the source of the noise, Tyler was up in the trees, watching and listening to
them. “Someone’s following us,” said one of the hooded figures, “they want the
power for their own.” The other one disregarded the statement, saying, “Stop
bein’ so paranoid. It was probably some animal. Come on, we must go and harness
the power of the artifact.” The hooded figures scrambled away down the road,
and when they were out of sight Tyler let himself down from the tree, and
decided to go to a wizard regarding the information he had just learned.

    Walking down the Anthos Highway
you come across a masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure,
    claiming he is a necromancer.

Tyler studies the masked man very carefully, noticing the bloodstains on his right hand sleeve. Tyler unsheathes
his axe, and approaches the two squabbling men. “He is a necromancer! A
defiler! Raiser of the dead!” yelled the masked man, “We must rid this world
from him!” Tyler then said, “Why is there blood on your right handed sleeve?
Perhaps you have an interest in killing people for no reason?” The masked man
turned in rage towards Tyler, “You dare accuse me of such things! I will not
tolerate this!” As the masked man’s attention diverted towards Tyler, the
hooded figure began to slowly sink into the woods without him noticing. “I’m
just stating the obvious,” said Tyler, “You appear to be bent on killing a man
with no evidence, other than your mouth.” By now, the hooded man had
disappeared into the woods, and right before the masked man let out another
outburst of anger, Tyler said, “You know what. You’re right. Kill the man. He
went that way,” and pointed in the wrong direction the hooded man went. The
masked man stared at Tyler, wanting to believe that Tyler had just had a change
in heart, and he convinced himself he had. “Well then, I must go after him!”
said the masked man, and sheathed his sword and darted in the direction Tyler
    pointed.

  10. I donated $50 for a gold VIP around a year ago. Since then I have taken a break from LoTC, and have come back to have found my gold VIP gone. This is perfectly fine, as I understand a lot can happen in a year, but could you please give me my gold VIP? Thanks.
