@Starfelt I can see some of the similarities, though we can’t hear or sense the suffering of other people. I’ve personally never seen the Caretaker lore, but it is always possible some inspiration was drawn from it by some of the others. Apologies if it feels like we took from you, it wasn’t intended.

That’s the point of the rewrite. The LT has requested that all holy groups move away from the ‘dark vs light’ dynamic, as it produces toxicity. Thus, this rewrite exists to open the Ascended up so that we have more to focus on than just bashing spooks with holy magic.
