What style of events do you feel you enjoy creating? (Low Fantasy, High Fantasy, Quests, Dungeons, etc.) I would like to have a good solid mix of Low Fantasy, Dungeons, and Quests. But can work with High Fantasy if needed.

List three factors you feel play a part in a quality event and expand upon them.

I believe the three main factors within a quality event are fairness, the plot, and all participants within the event. With fairness I believe that all players should get an equal chance to reach the end goal of an event they're in, taking in factors of lore and RP. Powergaming and Metagaming will not be acceptable at all as it is unfair and unjust to the other players participating within the event. The plot and setting of an event really interest different groups of players, I believe that events should have a good balance of lore and storytelling to drag players in, while also presenting a spontaneous feeling that anything can change or happen in the event. Players should feel motivated to seek more events and feel excitement when they happen. Creating diverse and new events keeps the player base wanting more roleplay scenarios and seeks the player to search for more lore. Lastly, all participants within the event should behave in proper manners within roleplay and ooc. I’ve been in many events where the players don’t listen to the ET or argue against the ET’s emotes ruining the whole experience for many players. All players should understand the rules and behave in an appropriate manner, including the Event Team as well.

Which member(s) of the team would you attempt to emulate and why?

Throughout my time playing on LOTC, I can remember great events from players such as Gorum, who created great dwarven roleplay events that were thrilling and in depth. I wish to recreate the sense of adventure and excitement that I felt, to other players that seek new events. I also wish to use Skylez1 as a current example of what I wish to go for, he has created extraordinary events I have attended in the past.

Provide three event scenarios, in total, of the style(s) you listed above:

Planet of the Hou-Zi (Dungeon)

After a long night of drinking and feasting you wake up on the beach of an island with the rest of the feasters (All participants in the tavern would get teleported to an island). The Island is surrounded by jungle trees and as you begin to go in mainland you start to notice movements at the top of the trees. A group of primitive gorilla-esque Hou-Zi come down to intercept you, big and strong they carry clubs ready to capture you. As you are forced to fight off the group of gorilla Hou-Zi, you continue to go further mainland where you find an ancient gold city filled with treasure but inhabited by a savage gorilla Hou-Zi colony, lead by the giant and powerful Emperor Kong.

The Eating Tree (Low Fantasy)

As you wander the roads on your travels, you notice a call from the forests nearby. Intrigued by the weird noise you venture within the forest, the trees grow thicker and the call grows louder. You arrive at a small clear field with only a great pale tree in the centre, surprisingly it has a face! As you approach the tree it weeps and cries for help, but when you come face to face it has a wicked and nasty look! Trees surround the small field creating a barricade entrapping you with the great pale tree, it shrieks of hunger and looks at you drooling sap from its mouth.

Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up! (Quest)

You hear a child calling for help as he runs across a road, tears stream down his face. The boy asks for help as his grandmother has fallen down a very steep and tight ravine, in return for rescuing his grandmother the boy promises valuables his grandmother has on her. When you approach the ravine the grandmother continues to shout how she needs help and that she cannot get up. A challenging climb down with dangerous critters await as you descend within the ravine.

Why do you wish to become an ET Actor Member?

I wish to become an ET Actor Member because I’ve always had a passion for developing intricate, exciting, and enjoyable roleplay. I always remember playing back in Aegis where events with monsters or antagonists were something to look forward to, I want to bring that enjoyment to people. I also like creating different roleplay situations and acting them out as the monster/antagonist, from what the ET Actor role offers I would enjoy the work it comes with.

What strengths would you bring to the team?

I would like to think that I could add more creative input and support to other members, as I am very cooperative and responsible. I can quickly create new situations or last minute changes to an event if need be. I can analyze situations well and provide my input in an unbiased view, as well as dealing with many emotes.

What are your weaknesses?

I tend to get very frustrated and unmotivated to roleplay with people that powergame or metagame. I lose interest in a project when I work on the same thing for a long period of time, unless someone is there to motivate me to keep going.

How much time could you give to this position in the foreseeable future?

I would be able to offer a good amount of time into the ET Team, I am on regularly so I can devote time to the position. On Weekends I tend to be busy frequently, but not always.
