for the record if any new players come to this guide expecting it to be some authoritative analysis of the server, it’s not. it’s bullshit. it’s dumb. ignore this. go roleplay and ignore all of this.

i would absolutely argue that being more active in the OOC parts of LotC make you far worse and the best people on this server are those that ignore literally everything except roleplaying.

i was also asked to voluntarily take a leave of absence from this server for a year and recently came back after that, so i understand how it is

i’ve always thought (as in, since yesterday when i went on the temp map and saw powerlines and trains) that an advance of technology would be an interesting thing for the server, and that the best way to implement that would be stumbling on some previous civilization’s inventions

so this is related in that way yup

i think we should all take this new map for new places to explore, new friends to make, new adventures to be had, new beginnings
