  2. Minecraft Account Name: My Minecraft Account name is Brobeast78.

How old are you?: I turned 20 years old in February.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: I live in the United States – EST.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: English is my first language and I have been speaking it my entire life. I have also taken two college level English courses so I would like to think my grammar is at an acceptable level as well.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I’m your average working college student. When I am not working/studying, I enjoy gaming to its full extent. I love genres from first person shooters all the way to role-playing. I do not discriminate against any genre; I only love some more than others.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Most of my week consists of morning classes and the occasional nightshift. I plan on playing this server 2-4 hours a day, 14-28 hours a week. This would occur either mid-day or at night.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is the act of creating a completely fictional character and then preceding to live out that characters life in its fictional world. At all times one should never break character nor should he/she use outside elements from his own perspective to influence his characters world. Roleplaying, for me, is a very interesting experience because it allows you to be someone you have always wanted to be in a fictional setting.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: During the weekends of my freshman year of college, a large group of students (including myself) would engage in a real world roleplaying game. It took place all over campus and the setting was that of zombies. The object was to create your own character, forge alliances, and destroy the zombie threat. Any in game character that was slain was turned into a zombie.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is the act of using any bit of information that you have acquired outside your characters perception whilst being in character. An example would be going on a forum to learn the location of a specific item or location then traveling to said item/location whilst being in character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming during roleplaying is simply enforcing something on an opposing character without actually giving them any notification or chance to counter. An example of such would be suddenly attacking another player without the other even being prepared or aware of your presence. The other player had neither time nor the capability to react to my actions.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Due to the name of this server, I expect it to have subtle similarities to the Lord of the Rings. I am a huge fan of the series so this is one of the main reasons I became interested in this specific server. I also expect this server to have a community of dedicated members who behave within its stated guidelines. To many times have I joined a server and it was just an entire cluster of madness and chaos with no specific purpose. From what I’m seeing, that is not the case with this server.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I’ve played on many various servers with friends in school and on forums. Some of the larger servers I’ve played on include Herocraft and other various prison servers. The main reason I stopped playing is lack of interest of the said plot. I’ve read through the entire Lore of Lord of the Craft and I must say I’m excited.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I’ve read through the rules and I believe them to be fair and logical. Nothing ruins a roleplaying experience like disorganized chaos.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes I do.

How did you hear about us?: I was searching for a server with an interesting plot and this one popped up on google.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:No, I have not.

What Race are you?: I’m of the Human Race.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Araglas II was born 31 years ago. His mother, Eowyn, and father, Araglas I, were citizens of Alras. Araglas I, being a very noble man, always raised his son to be tolerant of all races. He knew that the evil of ancient Aegis was still alive and it slowly crept to divide all of Asulons people. Only through working together and fighting as one would the lands of Asulon thrive. Due to this mindset, Araglas ‘s family had many friends of different races. Only at the age of 14 did that fateful day occur. Araglas’s parents were returning home from a trading voyage to Malinor when the unthinkable happened. Right in from of Araglas’s eyes did he have to witness his parents being attacked by the Dark Brotherhood. Araglas’s father saw this and begged him to flee to Malinor where he has friends. Since he didn’t want his fathers last wishes to die in vain, he obeyed his father. Araglas II found familiar faces in Malinor and for many years resided in a period of hatred and depression. All he could think of was destroying the Brotherhood. It wasn’t until his early adulthood did he see a vision. Till this day, Araglas doesn’t know if it was a dream or if it was real but it has made a lasting impact. One night he saw his father appear before him. Not as he last saw him, covered in his own blood, but healthy and whole. He spoke to his son “ Araglas…. You must not live with this hatred. It only goes against everything I ever taught you. We must fight for valor and the common good, not in revenge and hatred. Those two alone will only lead you to the paths of the very people who destroyed me…..”

Araglas was completely torn after this. So many years he spent plotting revenge. Only now to learn this is what his father did not want at all. He later spoke to Erendis, one of his fathers best friends. He told Araglas II of how his father spoke of the family having ties to the “Teutonic Order.” Although Erendis had no physical proof of this, Araglas II saw nothing but the truth in his eyes. At this point Araglas knew what he must do. He gathered his belongings and left Malinor. No longer would he deal with the agents of hatred. His only ambition now was to prove his father right and join the Teutonic Order to restore his family order. He would fight for the common good and protect all those in danger from Evil.

Araglas II is 6 foot 3 inches and has an athletic build due to working with his hands his entire life. He is 31 years old and is a very noble person. Although his past has been riddled with revenge and depression, he now seizes at the opportunity to help those in need and treats all with respect. The little time he did have with his father, he was trained in the art of swordsmanship and mining. These two alone have allowed him to survive when traveling city to city. Even though Araglas II was born in Alras, he spent a great portion of his life in Malinor. He is diverse in many cultures and gets along well with all races.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To fight evil and join the Teutonic Order.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):Araglas’s Favorite tool is the sword. His father knew evil needed to be fought, so he trained his son to wield a sword.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Swordsmanship and mining are among my characters most skilled talents but he also acquires an aptitude in trading due to his spectacular speaking skills.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Once he sees the two criminals are trying to steal, he jumps into action and battles the two warriors. Due to his superior swordsmanship, he subdues the warriors but doesn’t kill them. The halfing is baffled. “Why not just kill them!?” he asks. Araglas II responds be teaching the hafling that even though these warriors committed a crime, they still aren’t worthy of death. Only 120 Minas!” Realizing the salesman was offering 40 Minas under value, he paid him an extra 20 and gave him 140 Minas. The salesman praised him and Araglas II took note of who he would be buying from in the future.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Although Araglas II was certain the house was abandoned, it was at the very core of his moral code that he isn’t to take things that don’t belong to him. Since the house itself obviously had signs of nomadic habitation, he dare not risk sleeping there whilst being in risk of someone sneaking up on him. He proceeded further into the wild to search for shelter.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Araglas cautiously moves towards the camp so as to prove to them he means no harm but only seeks help. Being that he always keeps some form of emergency Minas on him, he offers the campers a generous sum of money in return for food and directions.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Before talking to the party leader, Araglas II does research as to find out if the bandits are truly misbehaving. Only until later does he find out that the bandits aren’t actually bandits but orcs who are hungry and in search of food. Instead of talking to the leader, he goes to the orcs and warns them that the town is taking measures to get rid of them. He gives the orcs sustenance and means to travel to the next town where people are less prejudice.
