Fin Landlock was born as an only child by Silvia and Tim Landlock in the nation Empire of Renatus. His mom was a firm believer of the Red Faith, believing about the All-Father and how he is to protect us from the Long Dark, starting to teach Fin when he was old enough to speak. She hoped her teachings and praise would eventually make Fin a follower as well. Fin wasn't one for religion, however. He did like meeting all the people that believed in the same religion his mother did, though. When he turned eighteen, Fin's father died from a cold and told Fin to watch over his mother, in which he did till she died a year later. Fin was depressed for a year, not sure of what to do with his life. During that time, he decided it was time to continue on and not let his sorrows anchor him. His quest now it to open a tavern. So he packed his belongings away and left the Empire of Renatus, never looking behind him. After all, he loved to new people and hearing stories, and thought it would be a happier beginning if he went out into the world to meet them all.
