2. Why not just add back in the golden staffs that use emeralds as fuel? Give it an option to change the partical effects dependent on the user's want and the just shove it in? It worked before, why wouldnt it work again? 

The big problem here is that Magic Rp'ers have to work for their magic, they have to make forum posts and work hard to master and ascertain the magic in the first place, when someone yells "Pvp Default" it takes all that work, all that hard earned work and shoves it into a bag before drowning it in a river like a bunch of dumb puppies. Sorry that this plugin was so difficult for you, but it honestly sounds like you just need to tighten your belt and power through it.

Antags in previous maps have had access to destructive fire magic that I first-hand witnessed blowing up an entire Adunian wall that I had fortified myself, and it didnt lag the server. This should be no problem.

A large- ungainly creature standing roughly 8ft stares at the sign, his breath fogging in the winter air.. a red-what once must have been a cloak now torn in rags and acting as a cowl covering his head. He lets out a low grumble and moves on his way.

No shoutout for the Shad'rin? Lame.

A robed figure moves through a library, his robes fluttering in the wind as the opened door allows passage, his sapphire blue robes seem to gleam brightly, albeit the moon did not shine on this night.

Electricity pulsed from this creature- his blue eyes glowing brightly in the darkness of the enclosed space, his long pale fingers tracing over one book at a time before being stopped by the book half-protruding from the shelf, he sneers at it's integrity to get in his way as he had been looking.. and then notices that it bares no name.  

The High-Elf slides it's finger up the length of the spine of the book and tugs it down by the cover- ever so gently so it falls into his awaiting hand- being grasped tightly. The creature walks through the rest of the library, the book opened in his right hand while he wipes away the dust on the shelves with his left. 

A sneer curls upon the lips of the High-Elven mage as his voice ecohs into the darkness.

"Interesting.."

After reading this guide extensively and re-reading it. I find this guide to be rather well thought-out and well placed. I believe that if we do revert back into a society where we can roleplay combat freely without the fear of Pvp we should look towards this guide in terms of loosing. As well as- This guide reminds me a lot of a list of rules for T1-Rp a forum-based style of roleplay which can be found here.

A bird, seemingly made out of electricity flies overhead, within it's lightning-like talons a metal canister is held, electricity arcing this way and that as the canister is dropped before the academy. The canister is ornately decorated and has an "A" engraved in the side, as if it were a noble house symbol, within is a note. The cloth that the note is written on seems to be made out of a woven gold and the letters woven from silver, it reads in an elegant hand, as if sewn or stitched together:

Sul'irrin draws out a silver piece of paper, already ready for this speech.

"I Sul'lrrin Audane hereby wish to take the position of Okarir'indor. My family, albeit no longer around has served the silver city diligently, and my life has been dedicated to the bettering of the Mali'aheral and towards the knowledge of all science. I am perfectly able to come to the solution of any problem faced before me and work through it diligently and happily."

Sul'lrrin clears his throat, looking about. His apothecary belt wrapped around his waist and over his shoulder, glass bottles clink together noisily. Sul'lrrin continues

"I have since arriving back at the Silver City, sought to assist the people in all the ways possible in my position. I have since helped develop a cute for the plague that had ailed us.I am not the greatest of fighters, so it is better for me to be utilized in a different scenario, in this case: in the labs of Tahn'siol, overseeing projects and placing myself into the frey of the world of science. I have come from a background that allows me to use my skills in such ways. Having been forced, at sword-point by the Desciples to create their weaponry that they then used within the Conclave and outside, I have shown my poweress of inginuity and my powers of progress. I will be attentive, assertive, and most of all helpful towards my fellow Mali'aheral when dealing with anything that might fall under my position.

Sul'irrin sighs softly, finished with the first part, readying himself for round two.

"I was the library keeper within the Disciples, the ones who led the conclave, kept there against my will, and never has a library looked cleaner or more refined. I also have been trained in the Art of Electromancy and witnessed many pupil gain similar abilities and aptitude in magic, I know who should and should not weild such power or be allowed within the walls of the city I care so deeply for. I believe I am the best choice because of the experience I have gained throughout the short life I have lived, being that it has all been devoted towards an ultimate goal of reaching such a position. That being said, ultimately I have been used multiple times as a "Middle-grounds" between two parties, both within the city and externally.

In short, my fellow Mali'aheral, I believe i should take the position of Mali'aheral. I feel that we have stepped away form the scientific side of things and are currently wallowing in a pool of water that is slowly raising over our heads, something needs to be done, a hole needs to be made.. and I have the tools to make that hole.

I hope you consider me a rightful candidate for this position, and wish that no-matter what, Education must begin.

You did kinda just get banned for cybering... I'm going to say -1

For the record, and I'm not angry any more about the subject nor will discuss it publicly besides clearing your head of this inferior information and idea... I did not cyber nor was there valid evidence or a valid argument against the thought that I had. If you wish to speak to me directly about the situation instead of insinuating because I was banned it was for "Cybering" by all means, contact me on Skype. 

As a student of Law I have reviewed the information and while it was immature and irrationally on the line of "Cybering" it was supposed to be a joke when a friend walked in and Kaizar (My character) would toss several chess boards in the air in frustration. Instead of listening to one person's opinion, and condemning the one who had no option to fight back, it may be best to get both sides of the story. Gm's are often known for only getting one-half of the story and then deciding that "They're judgment is final" as what happened with the young man whom decided on my own ban. He wanted to do nothing to listen to my argument, and as a judge between the two arguments, being the complainant and defendant (Myself and Prim behind the Defendant) this "Judge" or GM would be placed out of the job because of a lack of listening to evidence or keeping an ear opened. I did not ask for Pity, I gave my story, I gave my facts and I stated that based on server TOS and Rules I was not breaking either. If people continues to pester and speaking about the matter I will have no option but to review the Forum rules.

Bringing up the subject of my Ban, in any way shape or forum relating to a topic of other means of the origins would be considered breaking two of these three rules. As for the banner, while these are forum rules, it should be taken to account that in TS we should be following the same rules, as we are the "Community" And there is no hierarchy. 

With all that said and done, I've accepted my sentences and will now go back to the silence. Perhaps I'll take the advice of those around me and attempt to take an Event team member place, as it appears that is where they believe my area of expertise is.

Dova, I wish you would actually read the application rather then forming a hypothesis based on our previous encounters (Which was roughly a year ago.) Please, re-read and re-think, perhaps we can Rp and speak and get to know one another better. Because I don't recall Rp'ing with you in a very very long time.. and within the confines of this document I have stated how I have changed. Perhaps we should Rp sometime soon and get a feel for one another again, perhaps you'll see it differently. ^_^ Have a great day, by the way.

Why have you decided to create a trial GM application?:

I have several experiences moderating minecraft servers. The most recent being a temporary moderating status on an rp server called "Gildorym" in which I was given power for about twenty-four hours while the other Gm's were having a meeting and could not attend to the server. Within that short amount of time I visited several key locations where Rp expanded on the server and searched over it, responding to the "Please help me" in the help chat constantly. I solved the issues relatively fast and simple, allowing the players to each give on story or the other via Whispers / TS and then came with a ruling before allowing them to continue Rp'ing, or stop in accordance to what had happened.

I can say, I don't expect a GM-ship on LOTC to be as easy, but I have watched Gm's participate among the server and the player base and wondered to myself several times: "Wouldn't it be nice to have some fun and help people?" This idea stuck several times, but to no avail. Another Gm-ship I had acquired was on an unnamed Vanilla minecraft server where me and my old girlfriend had created a town (Without the use of Towny, which was at our disposal)  and invited players to join us, (If they could find us) We were called, the mysterious town in the ocean, we had built the town along a small island and slowly expanded, keeping it physiques friendly with support beams and the like. I had been promoted to GM-ship on the server by the server owner himself who had commemorator me on how I treated the players who had every right to destroy whatever was standing there. He had told me I had three characteristics in which he loved: "I was just, I was fair, and I spoke my mind."

Well, speaking my mind on this server has gotten me into nothing but trouble in my adolescence, and as such, I apologized profusely and apologize again for allowing my temper get the best of me all those times. The truth of the matter is, I'm very passionate about this server, and when I see something that appears to be a bad thing, I do loose my cool sometimes and put my words out there, however moronic or hateful they be at the time. I truly love the server, I love to Rp, and I love the community who has made it what it is. And I only want to see the server move on, to move forward within the confines of this small little minecraft universe in which we live. I want to help the community as a whole, not only with Rp. But with the smaller things, a bickering over who did this or who did that, it's a childish thing.. yes, but it's something that needs to be resolved.

As a player who is on during the day (usually if I'm not at work) and on during the Australian player's hours I have seen the heights and lows of Gm activity and want to step into the place of filling these time slots when no one is there to help. (Not to say that they're lacking, just that people need to sleep and go to work.) But, I wish to be there when no-one else is, to assist the Event-team, to help the players experience Rp (And to deal with the various drama's that come with it.) I have become a very calmed person in my time on LOTC, having half-way grown up on it because of my experiences. And ask, if only for one last chance to prove, I'm not who I used to be.

Additional information:

Within my time on LOTC I have made friends, lost friends, and felt that I have created fun and interesting Rp with the community, I only wish to continue to do so, while helping the rest of the community have more fun in the process. I can only say, I do truly apologize for my outbursts for what I had done, and knowing thus, I can only ask for a second chance by proving myself to the community.
