  1. Forgive me for not reading all 31 pages but I would like to correct a few things here and there.

    1) The Vatican has stated that the Big Bang Theory does not contradict religion, and it is permitted to believe in it.

    2) The theory of evolution is frowned upon.

Those are the two things I wanted to fix.

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: To me, roleplay is becoming your character, and viewing the world through his eyes. It is feeling the emotions and thinking like your character.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Using outside knowledge to your characters advantage. Exp: You read the history on the website, but your character wasn't at Aegis or read history books, so how would he know what happened there? He doesn't, but when you meta-game, the character acts like he does know.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is basically just doing things your character wouldn't be able to. Exp: You are surrounded by bandits and all you have is a wooden sword. You type," Kills all with magical fireballs of death" essentially killing the other players, even though you have no knowledge on magic.

    Character Name: Malicor Firre

    Character Race: Dark Elf

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Malicor was abandoned at birth by his parents. He grew up in the wild, learning to craft from the wood of the trees, and eat from the food of the earth. From the time he was very young to when he was about 11, he usually went off into the city of Arethor, looking and scavenging for what others considered trash. Broken bows he could fix, to some leather armor. Except in his 5th year of doing this, he was caught by the local blacksmith. The blacksmith had questioned him thoroughly, only to find out he had been raised alone, barely learning how to talk by observing the humans. The blacksmith took him in and treated him as his own.

The blacksmith taught Malicor how to forge a sword, and how to fight. Malicor thought it interesting that this human had taken in a dark elf, when he thought most humans hated the dark elves. Malicor worked handling the Minas, while the blacksmith, whom Malicor had begun to call father, made and repaired the weapons and armor. Malicor had become use to handling money, and was often very good at it. Once, he had raised the price of a sword ever so slightly, just to make a few extra Minas for himself. When his father grew old, Malicor begun to run the shop on his own. His father, although weak and frail, was very proud of his son.

The day the blacksmith died, Malicor was deeply saddened. Through his childhood, he had made many friends. Many of them had been there with Malicor at his fathers death. They were all saddened as well. Malicor saved as much money as he could from the sells, and on his 25th birthday, he sold the shop. He decided it was time for him to begin a life of a proper merchant. One who only stayed in place for a little while, never settling. This was hard for his friends, but not as hard as it was for him. These people had taken him in, and treated him like family. Now he was leaving, and of course he would come back to see them, but when? He decided to continue with his plans anyways, and so he began his journey to the world.

What are your characters ambitions?: To be a good merchant, selling the finest of everything.

    Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

As I'm walking up to see my friends after being away for so long, I see a dwarf wearing nothing but rags. I walk up to him and I say, "Hail dwarf! How is business for you?" He glances up at me and says, "To be quite honest with you, horrible. I don't know what I'm doing wrong! No one will buy my wares!" I look at him, and it reminds me of when I first started to work for the blacksmith. "Here, allow me to help. I, being a fellow merchant, have acquired a few tricks to doing this sort of thing. You have to make it look appealing. For example, don't just say that iron sword is an iron sword. Say it is a finely cut, double edge blade. Hear the difference?" He looked at me with a smile and then proceeded to say, "Thank you. I will try to use that from now on. Why don't you pick an item and consider it a gift?" I thank him and proceed to go meet my friends.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

As I watch the dwarf get picked up by the Orc, I draw my sword, trying to remember everything the blacksmith taught me. I quickly attempt an attack at his feet, trying to disable. The blade cuts him and he yells in pain. "Try picking on someone your own size!" I shout while I attempt to knock him to the ground. He quickly turns around and smacks my foot away. "Me think you want the Minas. Well, you won't get any!" the orc says. The dwarf runs away in fear. I get distracted and the orc slams me to the ground. He picks me up and yells at an ear shattering level, "You cost me the Minas, so now you will pay with your life!" I quickly roll to the side when I see the orc about to attack me. I stab him, and the orc is about to attack me again when he is restrained by the authorities. "Now, now. We don't want anyone getting hurt here, do we?" the first guard says. "And you, elf! Next time, don't attack the orc. I have a half a mind to arrest you! Next time come to us." I walk away, thinking it might have been too late to save the dwarf if I had gone to him.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?:

I hear the Minas spill all over the floor. I hear the old man fall to his knees. I quickly go and help the old man. "Are you okay?! You took quite a fall." I said. "Yes, yes, I'm fine. Would you mind going to go get my Minas?" he asked me. I quickly go to recover the Minas, after sitting the old man down. I then proceed to go to Malinor, and break off part of the tree. I then go back to the man, give him the Minas, and the walking stick. "Thank you kind elf. Why don't you take some of that Minas for yourself? Go ahead, I don't mind." he said while smiling. I then take some of the money, and go on my way.

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is becoming a character, which could only live in myths and legends IRL

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Metagaming is breaking roleplay, through knowledge gained IRL. The best example would be the nameplate. Though you can see it, your character would not be able to, yet you act like he can

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power Emoting is performing an action, and proving it successful, without the knowledge of another person. EX: Player 1 killed Player 2. This gives no chance to player 2 to deflect, dodge, or do anything. The text automatically considers it something that has happened, not something that will happen.

    Character Name: Mallos Vidican

    Character Race: High Elf

    Character biography:

" My name is Mallos Vidican. I felt like I need to start recording my life. This is my first entry. In this entry, I will talk about the death of my parents. My father had gone out to the swamp for something. I never found out what though. He wouldn't say. When he came back, he said some bandits had taken it. He never described what "it" was. The way he said it though, it sounded very important. Back to the story, he had fallen ill the next day. My mother as well. The local doctor had no idea what it was. He was forced to exile them to the wild in fear this disease would spread. Before they even had a chance to leave the city, they died. Their bodies were burned to kill the disease."

*Note that defenseless was misspelled on the last question.

"In this second entry, I will talk about what I did after their death. For a couple of weeks, I had been staying with a friend. I had been working to earn enough money to buy and own a home. Once I had enough to move out, I left. My new house had 4 rooms, the lounge being the biggest. The second largest being my bedroom. The third was the kitchen, and the fourth was an empty room. After my parents dying from that disease, I started taking an interest in medicine. I had learned the basics, but that wasn't enough. I turned the empty room into a lab of sorts. My friends never feared becoming ill, as they knew I would love it. Experimenting with new medicines was fun. I miss my old stable home."

"In the third entry, I will bring the journal up to speed. I had told my friends I was leaving to go meet other alchemists. I hoped to learn more about medicine. I sold my home, and left. This is where I am now. I am going to the cloud temple, as I have heard the monks have found a way to revive the dead. I will write more when I finally get there.

What are your characters ambitions?: To learn every possible way to heal.

I walk up to the dwarf. I ask him," What are you selling, little man?" "Oh, you're one of those. Well, if you are here to make fun of me, then leave!" the dwarf said. I quickly replied," Just show me your clothing, dwarf. I want to be here as much as you want me here." He quickly showed me some trousers and caps. I asked if he had any medicinal items. "I might. Wait here and don't touch anything!" he yelled. When he returned, he had a box filled to the brim with nothing I didn't already have. I said,"I see nothing of interests, so I shall take my leave." I walk away, hoping to never see that dwarf again.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

I see the two fighting. I see the dwarf is losing, and I can't help but grin at the short man. I decide I should be the better man and go and get the authorities. I find some guards and tell them about the fight. "Where was this fight, elf?" they said jerking their heads, looking around for any movement. "I shall take you to them." I said. When we arrived the Orc had clearly won, with the dwarf on the ground, nearly dead. Even though I didn't want to, I helped and healed the dwarf. I am a man of medicine and shall act as one. The dwarf is quickly taken by the local authorities. I returned to my walk

I reach for the old man, and help him up. He goes and sits on the ground while I go ad fetch a branch I broke off a tree. I go and sit with the old man. He had retrieved his Minas, I observed. "Why did you help me? Wouldn't your kind consider you unclean now?" He asked. I quickly say,"No, I would have to do much more than that to be considered unclean. Here is a make-shift walking stick I crafted using my dagger. I hope it will last you." "Thank you, elf. I shall now take my leave. I am expected somewhere." he said. "As shall I." I said as I walked away.

    Character Name: Vidian Morflos

    Character Race: Elf

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

When Vidian was born, his parents felt like the happiest people alive, as they thought it would be a miscarriage. As a child, his parents worried for him very much. They were afraid to lose him to the evil of the world. Vidian hated how his parents over-protected him. He always felt like he could take care of himself. He was so wrong. He had ventured out one day to explore the world. He was fascinated by the worlds beauty and detail! When he returned, he smelled the sweet smell of burning wood. He ran home as fast as he could. On his way, he bumped into a mysterious figure dressed entirely in red robes. Vidian did not see his face.. He had ignored it, the biggest mistake he had ever made. When he got to the source of the smell, he was horrified. He saw that his home was on fire. Now, you have to acknowledge the fact that his home was a far ways from any elven city. He didn't mind, because he enjoyed the solitude. Nobody had even seen the fire, or who started it. Worst of all, his parents had been caught off-guard. They had been roasted alive. Vidian always wondered if the man he had bumped into was responsible for this.

A few years had passed, and Vidian had devoted them entirely in the city library(please note, I do not know if they have libraries so correct me if I am wrong), discovering who the man in the robes was. His friends always thought of it as an obsession. After a few more years of this, he devoted his life to knowledge. He loved studying the outside world, and would often go on "nature walks" outside his home forests.

What are your characters ambitions?: To study nature and to eventually be able to understand it fully.

I am now approaching the human city and, what is this? I see a dying dwarf. He looks starved, ill, and near death. I say," Do you need any help? Water, food, anything?" "No, just the coin, if you will." He says with a humble look on his face. I look at his wares and buy what I can afford. He then thanks me. I have to say, I have never seen a bigger and happier smile in my life.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

I go out for a midnight stroll in the city. I see some herbs and go to harvest them. As I reach out to pick the herbs, a dwarf falls flat on his face, right in front of me! In shock, I stumbled backwards. I see an unpleased orc. I plead him to stop but he just pushes me to the ground and yells in my face, "STAY OUT OF IT!" This matter does NOT concern you!" I quickly get in my feet, and run looking for the nearest authority. When we return, all we find is the remains of the fight. Dragged dirt and smashed herbs. I describe the appearance of the two to the authorities and the thank me.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. As I watch in horror as the old man falls to the ground, I quickly help him to his feet. I sit him on a nearby log as I go and recover the coins. I keep one for good measure, as I do deserve it for my actions. I return the coins to the man as he thanks me, "Thank you kind man. Oh, and keep the coin you stole." I feel shame as the old man walks away.
