What do you think the server will be like? -  A good community of fantasy/medieval RP.

What’s your favorite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -  That you need to have a soulstone in order to escape a dire situation in RP, and not just teleport out.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - 

Hugo was born just outside Kralta, his father being a Smith and his mother a Farmer. There was never much to do besides help his parents in their work, which is how he spent most of his childhood. He never took much to the farming, instead often spending the time with his father, and learning the craft of the Smith. At first his job was simply to carry in supplies to his father, though as he aged he was permitted to work closer to the forge.

He would often accompany his father on trips to the village to bring in and sell their wares, and buy supplies they needed. He would often stop by the town Smith as well to see his work. Between his father and the town Smith, he had continued to gain a large intrigue in the art. And due to this, his father promised him once he came of age, he would teach him. 

When he reached the age of fourteen, his father kept his promise, and guided him through the usage of the forge. His father had the setup already. Forge, Anvil, Hammering Table, Grind Stone, Tempering Pool, Tanning Rack, and Workbench. As per request, the first item Hugo would smith, would be an axe. He took a bucket, placing inside of it both iron and limestone. Bringing the bucket and its contents to the forge fire, allowing it to hover over the flames until the contents melted, at 1100 degrees Fahrenheit. Taking the bucket to anvil, this had a mold of the axe head resting on it. He poured the cast iron into the mold, beginning to hammer at it as it began to harden, occasionally putting flux into it. Continuing to hammer on it until it fully hardened; using tongs he gripped the axe head and brought it into the tempering pool. With it cooling, he went to create the handle of the weapon. Carving a log of oak wood into the perfect size and shape, he would take tanning leather, the inside of it being slightly dabbed in tar, and wrap it around the grip of the hilt, and taking it to the grindstone to smoothen it out. Using his tongs he removed the heat treated axe head, taking it to the hammering table. Using a chisel, to cut a hole at the bottom of the axe head, he would then take it to the forge fire until it was a golden color. He would bring it back to Hammering Table, and insert the handle into the new hole, beginning to hammer on the area where the axe head met the handle on both sides, until it molded around the handle, making it firm within it. Once the handle was firmly part of the axe, he would heat treat it within the tempering pool again, before taking it to the grindstone and sharpening its edge. 

And thus, he had created his first work of art, treasuring it. He would go on to continue to work with his father at the forge, until he was old enough to take his leave of his parents’ home. In such, he left Kralta as a whole, and headed Renatus to find work. For a while he served as a Smith’s apprentice there, going on to make the place his home. 

As years would go by, he had developed a romance with the daughter of the Smith he served under, and eventually they married. He would continue to serve his father in law until the day he died, in which he then took up ownership of the smithe, and worked it as his own. He remembered every weapon and armor piece he would craft, even more so if it were for a special occasion. The one he remembered most,  was when a father brought his son in for a longsword. He crafted the longsword without problem, pouring his heart and soul into it, as he did with most his creations. He had given the sword to the boy, though he was disappointed in his stance, creating for him special gauntlets so he could use a stance that Hugo would then teach the boy.

His life went on basically the same, until the day his wife passed from illness. On that day he decided to leave Renatus, going to explore the land of Anthos, and see what the world has left to offer him.

 

 

What are they like (personality)?: -  Hugo is a generally good natured man. He tends to give others the benefit of the doubt when first meeting them, though still staying wary of strangers. He is somewhat judgmental, and is not afraid to criticize someone. When you get to know him and befriend him you get to see he is a good person. Though he may not express emotion in his appearance or tone, it is not hard to tell when he is displaying it. He is happy to share a joke or story among friends, and sometimes even lend them favors, if they deserve it in his eyes. Though he can hold a grudge against those who do him wrong and his enemies, and is a bitter person to be against. All in all, he is a good and decent man.

 

What are their ambitions?: -  Hugo’s ambitions are to be recognized as a Master Smith, and to enjoy his life, or what’s left of it.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - 

Skilled in smithing.

Skilled with axes and hammers.

Large/Big body frame/build.

Minor hunting knowledge.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - 

His Age inhibits him.

He is still a human being; he still feels pain and reacts to it accordingly.

Not all too good with swords and knives, more of an axe and hammer guy.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - 

Hugo is a large man, standing tall at 6’3” and rather wide from both large muscles and some fat. His skin is slightly pale, though not very noticeable, due to not being in the sun often. His muscles are large due to his weapon trainings and years working the forge. His hands are somewhat leathery due to his occupation as a smith. His hair is balding on the top, mainly focused around his head. He has thick eyebrows and a large thick beard. His hair is a dark gray color, with small hints of light gray. He has dark green eyes, under his large brow. He wears a gray tunic, and pants, along with dark brown bracers, boots, and an apron.
